We are located 20 miles east of Green Bay, 20 miles northwest of Appleton, and 30 miles east of Waupaca on highway 76 along the Wolf River in Shiocton, We are primarily known as a sports bar but we also have large family dining areas, banquet facilities, Tiki Bar with an outdoor patio.

My wife and I stopped on the way back from a road trip at this restaurant we saw. The bar service was great at the bar. Seated at the booths, the service, or lack of was terrible. Ordered 2 PC chicken/fries & the beef tips with mashed potatoes, special of the day. Advertised either potatoes or noodles, but the waitress forgot to mention no noodles for today’s special. 20 min. later, she came back and asked us if we needed something, and we asked for water. 20 minutes after that, we were told it would be 2 more minutes and then 15 minutes later, almost an hour waiting, our food arrived and we never saw our waitress again.(Did she forget to put our order in??? The place was not a busy Thursday) She never came back to see how everything was, which we could have asked for the coleslaw she forgot to bring, and a refill on some water. Another waitress came and asked if we needed boxes. 10 minutes later our bill arrived and the waitress took our money, came back and couldn’t clean our table off fast enough, which was the most we saw her all night, which was over an hour! Needless to say, don’t bother stopping, wasting your time or money to a place, which doesn’t care about all their customers, except for locals. There are many more restaurants who want customers, who provide great service & food to offer!

We like to go there for the chicken so we were happy to see they were open on Memorial Day. Best chicken you ever had and all you can eat too. Comes with mashed potatoes, gravy and stuffing.

The food and atmosphere were great. The gluten-free menu is a plus. Only critic that French fries are not gkuten free if fried in the same oil as other non gluten foods. Service was slow. They were busy it was during the week. The sturgeon are spawning right around the corner from them. Need more staff. Not there fault. It’s just the was it is now a days. Definitely worth the wait. Food was great!

The food was OK. There weren’t hardly any people eating in there and it took a while to get our food. The chicken was OK, not a ton of flavor, fries and coleslaw were great. They forgot my bread and brought it later, then I noticed they also forgot my coleslaw so I didn’t get it until I was almost finished. However out waitress was very nice and apologetic. I’m sure they’re short staffed like everyone else. For the price it wasn’t terrible but could have been better.

This was the first time here since it was sold. Very disappointed in the food. Ordered a to go order. The haddock was very dry and no flavor. It seemed like the meal was reheated in a microwave. It definitely wasn’t prepared fresh. We had to wait for our one to go order for a long time. It wasn’t very busy at all! Then after I ordered drinks and had my credit card laying on the bar the whole time, I was told they don’t expect credit cards. Good thing I had enough cash at the time. But if I would have known how bad the meal was going to be I would have just paid for our drinks and just left. Very disappointed! Regardless to say we won’t be eating there again even though we live close.

We have eaten here In the past before the new management. Were very surprised that they don’t accept credit cards or checks, cash only. The menu prices have increased $2-4 per item on Friday night fish, with no salad bar. The meals were below average, with the exception of their normal very fresh bread. Not many patrons in the bar, other local establishments were very full when we ate at 5:00. Will have to think twice before coming back to eat.
