Nice family style Mexican restaurant. We were the only ones in there for lunch. Our server was very nice and I am assuming g she was the only one serving and cooking when we were there. Most of the dishes were luke warm, but very good. The chips were homemade and the salsa was very good. The prices are great! I had a huge plate of nachos and they were delicious!

Phenomenal food joint. Excellent service and a very fun atmosphere. The food was outstanding, and a great value for the price. Salsa and chips were next level. Definitely would recommend!

We enjoyed the Choriqueso and street tacos. Both delicious. The choriqueso had some zing to it!

The food that I order was good.the restaurant it self looks cool but the seats them self isn’t very comfortable and wasn’t to happy to have kids take my drink order as I am pretty sure that not legal under 14 plus I order one drink but ended up with two and the price isn’t the best for two people it costed 27.82 and I am pretty sure they charged us for both drinks and it was just tap water overall if you want good food it not Abad place to eat the atmosphere with kids running around and playing while you’re trying to eat you’re meal seems Abit odd in a business and a child taking you’re drink order that can’t be more then 12 probably younger isn’t a good look overall one of the most weirdest exprice that I have had eating out anywhere I don’t strongly recommend it

Well this turned out to be a huge disappointment. The food was actually some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in years. The service was decent. We were making plans for this to be a regular stop whenever we passed by Sibley. Then it came time to pay.

Ordered online: enchiladas, a burrito, and a side of queso with chips. They followed the special instructions we requested. The food was filling and delicious! The queso was just the right amount – I’ve ordered a side of queso elsewhere and gotten a tiny cup. We are looking forward to eating here again.

I would give this place a zero but I can’t. I’m from out of town and the food was cold and seems like they were very greedy with their food. Not at all what the food looks like on the photos. Truly regret wasting money on food that was cold and people who were very greedy. Don’t recommend unless you want to over spent on low quality food.

The food and service I would say is fantastic. However, for me pricing is never consistent. If you don’t mind paying for more than what is listed then it won’t be a problem for you. Example: list price on menu for an item is $10– bill total comes to $14 for a dine in experience one week, the next week it’s $13.25, the next it’s $12. A carry out order for 2 of the exact same item was $26 and some change. It lists price on menu for chips and salsa is $2.00. I assume they charge $2.00 per person regardless. Even if 2 people are sharing one bowl. The food itself is great. I have yet to have any food I didn’t like. The chips are homemade and fresh and the salsa!!! They have 5 different kinds of varying levels which is absolutely fabulous for a salsa junkie! You can also have any salsa as a side or put in any menu item. While the portions aren’t as big as other Mexican restaurants I have always left full just don’t expect to take leftovers home usually. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone to eat but with a warning that their bill maybe more than they expect. Update: pricing consistency is getting better. They absolutely have accommodated every request to tweak a menu item as I’ve requested. The guacamole is fresh and made to order.

My wife and I stopped in for the first time last night. We enjoyed El Tio when it was open so we were hesitant about the switch. We finally took the plunge and it was outstanding. Wait staff was kind and very attentive. The food was A+ even though we came in skeptical. The chips and queso were good, plus they have 5 varying levels of heat on the salsa to satisfy all who visit. Some places we’ve been have fairly bland meat, but we both were instant fans after the first few bites. Returning customer FOR SURE. Highly recommend it. It’s very affordable.
