Mahoney’s is everything a small mountain town Irish bar should be… far from fancy, friendly, and comfortable. We have tried several things on the menu and have been blown away by how good it was every time! Definitely the best cheese curds and Juicy Lucy you will have West of Wisconsin, if not better!

We stopped in for supper and had a Johnsonville Bratwurst and a pastrami sandwich and bloody Mary’s. The pastrami was so tender it melted in your mouth and tasted amazing:) the bartender took very good care of Us and gave us some good ideas on where to go fishing. The cook even came out and socialized and asked how we thought the food was.

Hardly anyone in the place, 4 of us enjoying the atmosphere. Bar tender refused to come out to the back patio. 1 bet and no food, don’t stop at this place. August 9th. 2:24. pm. Bar tender said said he doesn’t come out to the patio unless he has to. Lol

Very inconsistent cooking. Seems to be a different quality each time I’ve gone. Last time had to wait an hour for a cheeseburger and there was only 3 tables being served. The drink cup had something that looked like hard water or soap stains on it. Overall I was disappointed.

The owner (Matt) is a delight. Service was 11/10. Food was fantastic – don’t miss the wings or the Juicy Lucy burger! Fries were light and crisp and everything was delicious. Good beer selection. Clean, welcoming atmosphere – this is the local hangout spot. Wish I was a local so I could spend more time here!
