I used the walk-up window during my nightly bike ride and I was very impressed with the experience. The staff was friendly, quick, and helpful. Inside was clean and filled with efficient workers. My order was begun even before I had finished placing it which created a wait time of 2 minutes exactly. (I timed it because of comments I had read). The fries were hot and crispy. The burgers were juicy and the lettuce, tomato and onion were fresh and crunchy. I ate in the patio area and noticed: how clean the parking lot was, the trash bins were empty, and the tables were washed. A meal of 3 burgers, fries and a Coke for $9.95 total was a pleasant surprise in these post-pandemic times.. I was especially impressed that Checkers does not contribute to the Tip Fatigue that nearly all fast food chains push upon customers. Well done! I’ll be back.

Took my friend in from out of town. Were seated right away, then waited about 12 minutes before anyone asked us what we would like to drink. Waited 5 minutes for the drink. Took another 7 minutes for waitress to take order. 35 minutes later no food yet and my friend got up to find out where waitress was and why she hadn’t refreshed our drinks. 15 minutes later food came. No “sorry it took so long, etc.” When I complained about how long it took waitress told me a lot of restaurants were having problems getting cooks and servers and copped an attitude. This while people who came in after us were being served. Will be a long time before I ever go, if ever, back there. Too many other restaurants along this road to deal with attitude.
