I have mixed feelings. I’m in love with the vegan oyster mushroom burger and all its facets. So much so, that I’ve tried and successfully executed a very similar version (see pics). In the end, if I don’t want to spend my time frying mushrooms I can always count on smoke and fire to come through for me any night of the week. We have also ordered the beef grilled cheese sandwich which got good reviews from my husband. The loaded potato, which you could eat for two days straight. The only reason for 4 stars would be the mac & cheese. Sadly, not anywhere near up to par but hey, you can’t win them all. I would still hands down recommend them to friends and family.

Food was fresh and tasted pretty good. Everything I tried I would order again, lots of menu options to explore still. The food was also prepared fast during dinner hours. Good eats, not the best stuff I ever ate but still worth trying .

I wish to give a shout out to the team here for making my first ever visit a memorable one. The staff member attending us was very attentive and made every possible effort to ensure my dietary allergy was avoided to the best of his ability. Providing accomodations/substitutes to the meal and offering to redo an item after it was discovered it contained an allergenic food. I felt that in itself really made every bite I had of their chicken sandwich absolutely perfect with every bite. The environment was very welcoming and the food, was just amazing. My biggest take away was their Waffle Cut Fries and that chicken aandwich mentioned earlier. They really know their stuff here, so I’ll definitely be coming back to check them out.

Oh my gosh! The food was great. I had the Mac & Cheese and street corn. The Mac and Cheese was creamy, brisket moist and sauce flavorful. Husband had the brisket tacos, three nice size portions with plenty of meat and very flavorful. The street corn had fried onions on top, I was skeptical but the combination works.

Best brisket in town. My husband had the beef brisket and I had the brisket quesadilla and we shared the waffle cut fries. Everything was so good and plentiful that we brought home enough food for another meal. We’ll be coming back to try some other dishes.

I was in Riverside back in September and walked into this nice ambiance with good music and the establishment was clean. The menu was well lit with pictures and descriptions. The guy at the register greeted me and I told him it was my first time there and first time in Cali. He gave me a few recommendations, and also let be try a free side, so I chose Mac n cheese… first I ordered the Nashville Hot chicken fries and these fries were absolutely amazing! Best thing ever! I would definitely be back for these again when I visit in January ’23 for work. The second thing I tried were the brisket tacos. They were pretty good, nothing special, not something I would try again. Brisket was lacking a little flavor. The Mac n cheese was actually delightful I also had some kind of strawberry alcoholic drink that was very good. I’m not a big drinker, so it was just the right amount is sweet and liquor for me. Overall great experience, great atmosphere, and decent prices. I would definitely dine in again.

Decided to try this place out after seeing posts on Instagram. The food was ok. We ordered different items and we thought they were all like 6/10. The fries were also cold when they got to the table. Overall nice atmosphere and great location.

GOD THIS IS GOOD! Ok, me and my son, very hungry decided to name off the nearby eateries. I wanted to get a burger but I am so tired of hamburger that is so predictable un-tasty. I remember last year we went to a place that had great ribs but it was really far away but I forgot the name. Something with the word smoke in it. My son looked it up and walla! Smoke and Fire…and there was a new address in Riverside. We hopped on the freeway and 20 min later we walked into a newly established eatery. Everything bright clean and brand new. Walking towards the pictured menu were very tempting photos of Ribs, Burgers and other delectable meats laid out on platters. Melted cheese dripping over the meats, fries scattered everywhere and more dressing delight. I got the Smashburger and my son got the Brisket Quesadilla. First of all, it’s not the pictures on the menu that convinced me but it was my first bite. Have you had one of those epiphanies that awaken your taste buds? Yes, the burger was delicious! The moment when you just bite into the burger and experience for a few seconds that this burger is so tasty. Yes, like I said, GOD THIS IS GOOD! Highly recommended. I hope you come to the Riverside Smoke and Fire Restaurant and ask for Jerry. Tell them Larry from Hawaii sent you. Try the Smash Burger! Your mouth will be very very happy!

Food looks DELICIOUS. Once I had a bite of the brisket, it was extremely dry and over cooked to the point it was chewy and actually chalky. The presentation looked awesome and made me believe it was going to taste perfect.

I think this is for a lunch meal or after drinks bites. Lots of big servings, great Mac n cheese, crunchy fries, tasty brisket. The margarita was disappointing. Tasted like a strawberry slushy, but the candy was delicious.
