Leo’s Italian Social is probably my favorite Italian Restaurant in Charlotte. Basically Maggiano’s on steroids. From the moment I sat down, I was like “this is my new Italian place.” Great for family dinners and I’m sure date nights too. the bread with balsamic and olive oil as well as roasted cauliflower bites were an amazing appetizer to start the evening. The main course meal, a chicken salad, was incredible. This is a must if you’re looking for good Italian in Charlotte. It’s not mid, it’s marvelous, magnificent, and mouthwatering.

We dined last night at Leo’s for the first time. We had a pretty negative experience while there. First, we waited a long time to be seated while employees were just looking at us across the restaurant. Second, our server, (don’t remember his name), but he was middle aged and seemed to also make cocktails and had a buzz cut, he was incredibly slow and inattentive with us, and we realized we were the only table in the entire restaurant that wasn’t given bread at our table. He took so long to get our order, to bring us the check, to return our credit card, etc. he just spent a ton of time on the computer screen at the bar. Furthermore, we both got pizzas, and the pizza is nothing like their Instagram pictures, it was below average pizza. The crust is nothing like their pictures, it’s undercooked, too flour-y, and not airy at all. We spend more time waiting for seating, back and forth for our waiter, and to pay, than time eating and enjoying ourselves. I felt the atmosphere was also really boring and the vibe of the restaurant is confusing, with no character. I unfortunately can’t recommend this place, it’s poorly run where same person is making cocktails, waiting tables, getting orders, bringing food to tables and it becomes chaos and not organized at all. Go elsewhere for better pizza and much better service. Very disappointed. Also to clarify, the place was not entirely packed, so the poor service was not justified.

They have a lovely outdoor dinning option so during the mid warm/cool days its a winner. The inside kinda feels like a retail space was spun into a restaurant so no real ambience. The bar has a stunning lay out so if the option is to face it; then its a great view. Service was impecible and always love that. The Peconic is on tap and serves cold and yummy. The calamari is delicious and the cauliflower appetizer is to die for. The shrimp risotto hits the spot but chicken parm miss the mark by a few yards…it should never lack that much sauce and cheese that all you see and eat is breading.

One of the best salmon dishes I’ve ever had, and the crispy potatoes underneath were heavenly. Classy atmosphere, friendly service, and quiet for Sunday brunch time. Looking forward to going back.

This place is amazing! I was looking for a place with good outdoor seating and came across Leo’s, which just opened up where Brio used to be in Piedmont Town Center. The restaurant has great ambience and the outdoor seating area is well thought out. They really expanded the outdoor space compared to what Brio had and I like that they don’t have the tables super close together. There are some comfy couches under an awning and plenty of tables with umbrellas to choose from. The food was excellent also. I had a pizza, which I loved that they allowed my to customize since they didn’t have exactly what I wanted in the menu. It was perfectly baked and the toppings were high quality! The pizza and appetizers are $3 off from 3-6 daily, so I was happy to catch that deal! Also had the calamari appetizer, which was also very very good and came with 2 dipping sauces. I ended my meal with the gooey butter cake and it is absolutely to die for! And I cannot forget the mention the awesome service. From the moment I was greeted when I walked in to the excellent table service, this has been one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in the past few years. Juan, our server was kind, attentive, and also knowledgeable of the menu. I will definitely be back! Very glad to see such an awesome new restaurant in this beautiful town center!

We attended a private event here on a Saturday evening. Despite it being cold and rainy, the restaurant was pretty busy. The ambiance was upscale. It’s a great place for a dinner date or to meet up with friends. We went straight to the back area where our event was taking place. The servers were extremely attentive throughout our event. We were able to get our drinks quickly.
