Delicious and aromatic food in a cool and calm place. The vegetarian sampler was divinely seasoned, with a good balance of spice. You get a bowl of Vegetable broth soup as a starter with a lime and spicy sauce garnish, quite delightful and unexpected. The coffee ceremony was delicious and soothing with the frankincense incense. I wish the timing of the coffee had better communication, it would have been good to know how much time that takes. Water is served in a bottle instead of a glass, which was fine, but I guess I’m just a spoiled by glasses of ice water, so it threw me for a bit of a loop. Could have used refills of water throughput the meal. Just be prepared to ask for more bottles when you go. Very nice place to get beautifully prepared food.

We heard so much about this place we had to check it out. We went during Ramadan which was a mistake on our part. A lot of items weren’t available. Honestly we have to go back, to do a big review. The food was good and presented well. We want to taste that beef and goat. So stay tuned…

This was one of the prettiest lunches I’ve had in a long time. We got the veggie combo, beef tibs and then jebena coffee for after the meal. The injera used to scoop our entrees to eat was so amazing. The coffee was served alongside a fragrant incense. Service was amazing! Such a great first experience! I definitely plan to come again.

The quality of food at Sana is superb. I highly recommend the goat meat tibs. The clear favorite with the family with tender goat meat. No other Ethiopian restaurant in Minnesota has goat meat tibs so this is definitely worth checking out! I also ordered the goro wot and special kitfo. Both of those dishes were delicious as well!

Welcoming staff and great hosts. We were served with soup as starter which was very tasty. All three dishes were delicious and came in large portions. Ethiopian coffee also served in Jebena (traditional clay coffee pot). Definitely looking forward to visiting again!

Excellent authentic cuisine! Really impressed with the menu and complex flavors from each dish! We shared the Vegetarian/Meat option for two and chose the Ketfo and Beef Stew as well as Vegetarian sides – all delicious with a touch of spice. The staff was friendly and the restaurant is clean and inviting! I highly recommend this Ethiopian restaurant!
