I used to work there, and I can 100% say this is the worst ran pizza place ever… I only worked there maybe a month and a half. Just to earn a little extra cash, but it wasn’t worth it so I quit. Only thing I miss is the free food. Management is terrible there, the GM begrudgingly comes in on occasion, does put forth some effort, but is subservient to the 2 black woman that work there apparently. The tall white dude works harder than anyone there, and is the most professional of the crew tbh. The dough gets almost rock hard before they cook it (if it’s been on the racks long enough they should be tossed) anytime there is a complaint they love to escalate matters to verbal altercations. They can be extremely rude and usually end up making it racial whenever the problem to be had is with a white customer.

Now I see why the rating so low.. staff need more training on not being a robotic. I come in to order some pizza and the girl tells in order to get the special I have to go online. That’s okay.. I’ll go elsewhere. Instead of starting with you can order here however, just need the code to get a discount. I’ll go elsewhere thanks for nothing papa John. It’s unfortunate that I was greeted by someone making pizzas in such an amazing manner wish she was the cashier

So I order two pies and buffalo wings online. I arrive to the store and right when I walk in all the employees was sitting down hanging out. I notice they gave me bbq wings instead. They said the correct order will be done in 10 mins and unfortunately, I couldn’t wait that long so I request a refund back for the wings only . The short fat lady call the tall dumb looking guy over which I assume was the manager and he stated he couldn’t refund me back my order for the wings I would have to wait and as I mention I couldn’t . The lady say with an attitude to refund back me the whole entire order . I ask for the guy name and he didn’t want to provide it . I told him I’m not asking you for your full government name only your first he said Jamie but of course he lied because he had to think about the name he gave me . I get home and the pizza had no sauce what so ever ! Only cheese and bread . My 4 year old loveeesss pizza and she took one bite and said this is nasty mommy . NEVER AGAIN

With so many other options in mint hill. Especially pizza, pick somewhere else! The staff is a bunch of children who play around and don’t care about the customers. Empire pizza, dominos, Hawthornes, Marcos pizza, seriously do yourself a favor. The WORST papa johns I’ve ever been to.

Ordered two pizzas and only one was delivered. The pizza had pork on it and we have a pork allergy. We called about the pizza that was not delivered and all that was offered was a redelivery. They never offered anything for the inconvenience and was quite short with us over the phone. When that pizza arrived forty minutes later, it was burnt. It was an overall terrible experience with horrible customer service. I wouldn’t order from there AGAIN.

I’d like to say the driver was the best part about the experience with this restaurant. Super nice and pleasant. On the other hand it is hands down the worst Papa John’s and the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. We asked for less cheese we got that but there’s no tomato sauce on the pizza at all. Very dry and cold. Hard is an understatement. I can say nothing good about it. Also got garlic knots and their heart is a brick. This is the second time that this has happened but won’t be a third. They really need to evaluate their product what they’re sending out and their employees except for the driver. Never will ever order anything from this restaurant again. I’m sure that doesn’t bother them because they haven’t bothered to answer any of the worst comments they’ve had already.

OK as we all know everyone is understaffed underpaid and doing their best there was a little bit of a hiccup but they made it so much better after the fact I really appreciate the manager talking to me and trying to fix everything. Thank you to the delivery driver through Uber and thank you to the delivery driver from Papa John’s everybody’s working hard and we just want to say thank you. We know times are difficult but you tried your best and you made up for your hiccups.
