This Pho restaurant feels like an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I live in New York City and Pho restaurants in the city do not feel very authentic. I recommend it here except that my table was not wiped down clean. But the server graciously wiped down my table.

came for a late lunch on a tuesday and was seated right away. ordered and it came out within 5 min. the broth was nice and light but did need a little hoisin. the spring rolls peanut sauce was amazing and i’m glad they had the touch of two sauces so i didn’t have to share with my friend. friendly and refilled water often. if i was from here i’d come back again! yummy and worth trying if you’re looking for a new casual lunch spot to try if you’re from the the area

Very mixed feelings. I think the food here is authentic, but the chicken pho broth is bland and watered down. I suspect they also water down their sauces. Chicken rice is good though. We got their spring rolls too, which are TERRIBLE. The rice paper was tough and rubbery, like they had been sitting out, and the fish saice is weirdly thick. Overall, the food is 3-stars but I have to knock off one more star due to lack of cleanliness. The bathrooms are pretty rank and there are damp, mouldy smells coming from the cash regsiter area, right next to the kitchen. Also sauce stains around chairs and tables that have clearly not been wiped up.

The broth was terrible and i barely ate any. Still ended up feeling queasy with all the oil in there. The vermicelli bowl also was nasty with veggies that were not fresh. They don’t serve limes and the bean sprouts were also not fresh. People reviewing this place with 5 stars clearly don’t know good pho

I do not remember the exact location of the restaurant but I remember it is not too far from the capitol hill. I went there for lunch with my friends during my visit to Washington DC. I had rice with grilled pork. Rice is a bit tough but grilled pork is amazing. The taste is so good. I recommend you to have that. But Pho is not on par with the one that I had in Lorton. The prices are reasonable.

Whoever left the review of the broth being authentic was wrong. Also, as you can see from the pic it’s PACKED with so much oil. And they served lemons with the pho which is…. Odd. Very nice staff though.

This food taste so amazing. This is actually some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It’s very authentic and very full flavor. The food came out very quickly and the customer service was really good. It’s really close to the capitol building within walking distance. It’s worth a walk if you wanna walk there from the national mall.

My pro tip is that the table up at the front window has excellent air conditioning! I really enjoyed the beef tendon and round eye steak pho with extra jalapeño pepper slices. It was the perfect thing to help me sweat and cool off on a blazing hot summer day in DC.
