Mi Familia is consistently delicious. I visit Mexia once a year to see family and always ask to stop by this restaurant to get my Tex-Mex fix (the torta is my go to). I’ve tried several of the meats (all are delicious) but I highly recommend the guisado and barbacoa plus a side of the Mexican Street Corn! It’s a small place but always busy, especially around lunchtime when many of the local workers stop by for tacos. The ladies who work here are extremely nice! Can’t recommend Mi Familia enough!
