My family and I came from Brooklyn on our road trip and the food was absolutely delightful The family who owns the restaurant was super friendly and kind! They were super considerate of how we like our food prepared. We had burgers and wraps with french fries and even had a slice of cheesecake!! Everything was superb! The environment itself was clean and welcoming! I would for sure come back again ! Absolutely loved it ❤️

Great little (cash only) diner. The regular menu offered plenty of good looking options, I went with one of the specials which was a chicken and waffle sandwich. The sandwich itself was really good but the slaw was fantastic. I would go back for just the slaw even if the sandwich was just okay. I didn’t see signage outside indicating it was cash only (it might be there and I missed it) but there’s an ATM in the restaurant and the transaction fee isn’t outlandish. Good value for the food and nice staff, will go again the next time I’m in Freehold.

This was a pretty good dining experience. We came here hungry for some good breakfast food and left satisfied. Was visiting a friend in Freehold, NJ and happened upon this dine-in before hitting the road back home. Had a waffle house and local diner feel to it. But exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Mexican breakfast quesadillas, which has chorizo, jalapeños, tomatoes and onions. It’s served with a side of home fries, sour cream and salsa. I love quesadillas, but for breakfast, this was delicious! Great flavors and nice crunching but chewy flour shell. Friends ordered the breakfast classic with two eggs and toast, and an avocado toast. Nice and friendly staff. Thumbs up.

Considering the bad experience I have had with Freehold breakfast spots, Roberto’s was a great surprise! The prices were excellent, the food great and fast service. I had the western omelette and it was light and fluffy with all fresh ingredients. My wife ordered the French toast and for the first time in days, loved breakfast! My daughter had the avocado toast and you can tell it was made with fresh ingredients. I tried some and it was delicious! Finally, my son had a great breakfast with a perfectly cooked medium burger and fries. Excellent food at a great price!

The food is good here but service is terrible at least the waiter I had was. Didn’t bother to check up on my table if we needed anything or if the food came out good. Also since the place is rather small a person who I assume is the manager just came up to us and said if we could move tables after our orders and everything to make space for a bigger party. It wouldn’t have been a problem if he came up to us kindly and explained but he didn’t and we had to ask why. Also we had to go up to out server and ask for the check because we had waited over 15 minutes to see if he would come but didn’t. Honestly won’t consider coming back because of this.
