Excellent food! The Tacos Al Pastor are Awesome and they have with or without pineapple! Thet are the BEST Al pastor tacos I have ever had, anywhere! They also have delicious shrimp tacos! They now offer Mexican crispy and fried Buñuelos with or without ice cream (image attached, sorry we had already dug in! It comes with two ice cream scoops and two bunuelos).

We came here this morning for breakfast to see what all the talk is about. They certainly did not disappoint! From the greeting, to the service to the delicious food! Everything was outstanding, but delicious was the word of the day here. We even took more items to go. I took home some Pozole to try and we also grabbed a simple quesadilla for our son because he loves them and if he loves them from here then I know this place is great!! lol.

Stopped by on their grand opening with my family. It’s a small joint with a nice and updated interior. Prices are reasonable, taco prices are a little too high but understandable since everything is expensive now a days. Parking in the back, also entrance in the back and in the front. The chips were very delicious and crisp, the sauce is like a guisado salsa. It had a kick to it but it was very good gave me a little flavor of cumin. Overall the chips were delicious and the presentation was very nice! The horchata was very good as well not too sugary like other places. The meat from the tacos were very good as well the seasoning wasn’t too overpowering. The al pastor was well done and had a good flavor to it, asada was a nice thick cut. They were not stingy on the portions! The quesadilla was huge! Although the sope was missing something not sure what it was, maybe more sour cream it seemed a little too dry. At the end we received arroz con leche as dessert, it was very delicious. Overall our experience was awesome we all loved the food. The service was excellent and they were very attentive. I hope it stays this way. Wish the best and success to Los Friends! Definitely recommend!

This is my new favorite Mexican spot! I had a great experience. Lets just begin with the tacos the Al pastor tacos with pineapple were fire, the empanadas were delicious, and the rice pudding dessert was my favorite. I recommend to anyone that hasn’t tried them out, to check them out they have great friendly service and are very attentive .

Steak tacos for catering with beans and rice was phenomenal! Everyone at the graduation party ENJOYED the food. Will definitely use again and highly recommend. Their individual meals are excellent as well. Highly recommend the steak burrito.

This was my first time going here. I ordered take out. Restaurant looked clean and the staff was very nice. I had read a lot of good reviews so was excited to try it. However, my rating is not what I expected but maybe they were having an off night. I looked forward to the carnitas and ordered the dinner which was very good and would bring me back. I ordered ground beef tacos for my husband and he said they tasted good but were not wrapped separately making them soggy. The big disappointment was the Guacamole. It was a cup filled with chopped onion, tomato, and cilantro with some lime juice but zero and I am not exaggerating there was zero Avacado. The chips served with it seemed a bit stale. All in all it was average and somewhat disappointing. I may go back for a second try but feel my search for a good authentic Mexican restaurant in Oaklawn continues.

I was so happy finding out there was a New Mexican place opening in oak lawn. When I first came in I was amazingly greeted and treated like I been going there for years, not to mention the food is truly authentic! I would recommend Los Friends over and over.
