The pot roast was amazing, extremely tender, and very hot. Real mashed potatoes the way they are meant to be.

Food was good – service was not. We waited 10 minutes for a server to come to our table and finally had to go to the counter to one. Our order took over a half hour to come our table. You had better reserve 1.5 hours if you want to eat here.

Limited menu but lunch specials were pretty good. Options were fried pork chop and hamburger steak, pork chop was better. Service was really good. Wouldn’t drive to Gibsland just to eat here but would return if in the area.

Drove 35 minutes to get there twice and all food and deserts were very good both times. We will go back

If you live in north Louisiana then this place is worth the trip. Great small town dinner with history. The food is always excellent.

Oh my goodness y’all! The best burger I believe I’ve ever eaten! Every thing was delicious and fresh and seasoned perfectly! The staff/owner (Ashley) was very friendly and an excellent server! Can’t wait to go back and try their lunch specials!

No other option at all to eat in Gibsland. Burgers were really good. Grilled cheese made with American cheese which I have an issue with but others don’t mind. Chicken sandwich was good. A little slow but we were just hanging around doing the Bonnie and Clyde museum and ambush site. 5 starts probably a stretch but a good place overall.

Friendly service and fantastic down home cooking. The chicken pot pie is one of my favorites and their peach cobbler is to die for. This is one of the best breakfast or lunch stops between Shreveport and Monroe (just 1 mile south of Interstate 20 at exit #61).
