Had a great lunch! First time we had eaten here in several years due to a poor experience. Night and day difference! Food is good buffet food, fried chicken was delicious. Server was perfect. Definitely going back. Also looking forward to trying the dinner menu.

Nice restaurant. We stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the buffet. Today’s meat choice’s were fried chicken, beef tips, hamburger, or county fried steak. Also a good variety of vegetables to enjoy.

Disappointed… The only positive was that the server was nice and very attentive. Not really a lunch buffet, more like a meat + 3… and for $15 very little value for money. Food was mediocre, heat-lamp cooked country fried steak wasn’t great. I stopped in today because I had enjoyed a steak and meal in the past. So, maybe a decent rural option for dinner, but I’ll pass on lunch in the future. Oh, it took quite awhile to pay my check at the cashier stand… Cashier engaged take out customers while I was standing right in front wishing to pay and leave. Out of frustration I left a $20 bill to cover my check and left. Frankly, probably the worst $20 lunch I’ve ever had. I hope the server received the tip $…

We have always enjoyed dining at Gedneys but tonight left us very frustrated. I called to be sure they were open because its a 40 minute drive and today is our 40th Anniversary. We stood on the door waiting to be seated for what felt like 20 minutes while 6 ladies didn’t seat us. We were acknowledged with a yell across the room that they’d be right with us and then she propped up on a counter with 3 others talking and glancing at us occasionally. We wont be back. Tried to speak to the owner by phone after we left but was told he wasn’t there. Explained the issue and was told they couldn’t seat anyone without checking with the kitchen first…???

Best burger I’ve had in a long time, very friendly staff if I could leave more stars I would this place is amazing. Went with my friends one has Alzheimer’s, the amount of patience from the ladies that work here are unbelievable. Props to the Gedney’s crew great food and service!!!!
