Portion are very small for the price i order lunch and breakfast it only includes the burrito and drink . Breakfast burrito with the red salsa was good but the other burrito was very lacking. The place is very wierd and small dosent look well kept . Convenient drive true but weird . Might aswell just spent 10 on the pizza buffet that 20 and still be hungry.

Stopped last Friday just after 11:00, and no one was there. Stopped again today for dinner, and ordered the tamales with a beef tongue taco on the side. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t amazing, either. The beans were canned and the rice was instant. Tamales weren’t traditional corn husk tamales, and the masa to pork ratio was very favorably masa. The beef tongue was cooked to perfection, but the tortillas fell apart because they hadn’t been grilled or toasted.

The was our first time and it was pretty good! It was really fresh, and felt like home. The hot (green) salsa with the soft and hard shell tacos is one favorite salsas that I’ve ever had. Would definitely come back.

I drive by this little place at least 2 times a week and have thought about stopping but didn’t… until tonight. So glad I did! I ordered the crunchy taco meal with barbacoa + a side of chips and guacamole + sour cream + both hot and mild salsa (neither were hot and I preferred the red). The chips were freshly made and I’m pretty sure he made my guac to order. All ingredients were fresh and the Man that waited on me was so nice! I’ll be back and next time I want to try the cow tongue taco

I highly recommend the Lunch Box. I tried their “satellite” location, manned by David on Noland Road, and had a crispy shredded beef taco and a pork tamale with tomato salsa and green salsa for under $5. It was delicious and authentic!!
