It’s a small place but the sandwich I had was very good. It doesn’t look like anything on the outside, but usually those type of places usually have great food. This one didn’t disappoint. I had a fried shrimp sandwich. It was dressed as requested. Although I usually put ketchup on my seafood sandwiches, I ate this one without. If it tastes good without condiments then it rates excellent in my book. The lady that took my order was very nice. I will be going back to try other food on the menu.

Pro-Boy King certianly lived up to its name. The 12 inch soft shell is amazing. Fried to perfection with just the right amount of spice in the batter. Definetly something to check out. When Bourban street is to busy for you take a 15 minute drive out of the city and I promise you wont be disappointed.

Delivery was quick enough, but oh man what a waste of $20 on a single sandwich!! I got the crab, which I was really looking forward to, but turned out to be fried in too much batter and had far too much shell! Honestly I would have prefered no batter at all so I could actually taste the crab. Also I asked for any kind of juice instead of a fizzy drink, and you gave me … a fizzy drink. So someone else got to enjoy that. Common sense would have shown you to just give me some water if you don’t have any juice. Hey, at least the fries were ok! (Although no condiments provided).

The food here is good. Not only do they havepo- boys, but they also have daily lunch plates. Friendly staff and Chef Tony is great too. Good quality food at reasonable prices. They also sell Dat sauce…. And Dat ketchup…. it’s great for adding to your specialty burgers or just for dipping your French fries. Got to try this place!
