Was looking for something local on a road-trip and found this gem. The road to it follows I-77 so it’s easy to get to. Extremely friendly family run place with great food and large portions. Flagged this to visit again when passing through.

Having read soooo many thru hikers reviews we had to find our way on a trip up Rt77. (if ya get confused the Bland Sheriff is happy to give directions and a glowing review). The owners were fantastic and because I was worried that the burger/baloney would be tooooo big (was having a BIG dinner a few hours later) they reduced the slab of baloney !!! WOW. Will have to go again for the full Monty ! The reduced sandwich was soooooo big it still was a challenge. Loved the food (baloney and cheese was a winner as well). Picture is my small sandwich. FUN !!!!!

Closed through July 4th week. Sign on door said opening July 11th. I was there July 11th… From 9am until 11am when my shuttle driver showed up early. No Ice cream, no burger… There were 6 other hikers that stopped by in that time and we’re equally disappointed. I shared my left over food and water with them so they could make the next hostile to resupply in. I understand life happens, but if you advertise being open. Then be OPEN! Perhaps I’ll be able to give a better review when I return next year.

We stopped here and they were closing already, but they were so kind to opened back up the kitchen. We had some bacon cheeseburgers and fries. Not only it was delicious, it also was a big burger!!! The burgers patties weren’t thin and it had a lot of bacon. Fries were also big portions. We are definitely coming back here! Super friendly people and they kept a log of the people who visited the place and a map showing where visitors came from. Nice little hole in the wall.
