The lengua tacos are fantastic! I had fun talking to the nice lady at the counter by using my broken spanish. Staff was very nice and friendly and I will be back for more soon! The food here is top notch authentic. Don’t mind the parking, just park around back.

Literally the worst tacos in Salem! I ordered 3 lengua tacos and 3 cabeza tacos to go and when I got home (only 5 minutes later) they were cold. It was no wonder why, because the fillings were so thin and the tortillas weren’t even heated that there was no heat in them to begin with! I couldn’t even tell the difference between the two kinds of meat because neither had any flavor whatsoever. And to add insult to injury those 6 tacos cost me 17.50. won’t be going back . Ever

I ordered Tostadas de Tinga de pollo party trays for 10 people. Very affordable meal and delicious. I got the Tinga, beans, lettuce, queso fresco, red and green salsa, cream and the Tostadas. Everyone enjoyed

Three stars because the service was good, but the food was not. It doesn’t have the rich flavor like when they started. 🙁

I am from Southern California, and I am well acquainted with real Mexican food. This is definitely legit. If you have pastor on the topo and all kinds of random Mexican snacks and beverages, you know you’re probably in the right place. I had 4 tacos (2 pastor, 1 cabeza, and 1 asada). All were solid. The pastor was juicy and sweet, which my girlfriend wasn’t a fan of, but I enjoyed it greatly. The cabeza was very soft and tender; it’s a great neutral meat for adding your own flavors with salsa and lime. The asada was chewy and smokey; just a little lime is all you need to enjoy it.
