The restaurant is somewhat small with a rather limited menu, compared to a few others nearby. They didn’t seem extremely busy, yet we waited for service. Several things we ordered they came back to inform us they were out of, and my husband didn’t get his beer (3rd choice of drink) till well into his meal. He got a steak with mashed potatoes and a salad – potatoes came like baked potatoes but were skimpy. I had 1/2 rack ribs with garlic butter broccoli that had a lot of stems, and a tomato cucumber onion salad that had lots of onion, big chunks of cucumber (they’re usually sliced in such salads) and hardly any tomato – a little disappointed.

I was somewhat impressed when I first came in my server was friendly polite and engaging yet when I’m ordered my food which was the New York strip medium well that’s not what I got sent it back and it still came back at medium when it was medium rare at first. Talked with the manger and she took one of my meals off which I truly appreciate but I didn’t get the dinner experience I was looking towards so that’s my reason not not giving 5 stars.

I have enjoyed many nights at this Fridays and am so happy they are doing a pride event this year. Front royal is a smaller town and there aren’t a ton of places for the LGBTQ+ community to go, and feel safe doing so. I know there are a few negative reviews regarding this- but I also know the event is going to be a huge deal so others in the community. Shame on the people who are leaving negative reviews because their views don’t align. This restaurant does so much for the community, including fundraising for local families and local charities, donating food to large celebrations or funerals, donating food to first responders, donating coupons and gift certificates for teachers to provide to students, and much more.

Went here as a first choice for dinner. Sunday evening. Not busy. Had maybe 5 whole tables full and about 4 servers. They seated my boyfriend and I with menus. We sat there for about 15 minutes. During that time servers and managers walked past us at least 7 different times. Two serves eventually sat down and got on their phones at the booth behind us. Finally, we left. No one came for even a drink order. It wasn’t busy at all. As we pulled out of the parking lot, the two servers that had been sitting in the booth behind us had been outside on their phones smoking (no biggie but take care of your customers first, especially after waiting 15min and needing to leave bc we couldn’t even get drinks). Sucks to be them. I’m a big tipper. We ended up going to Applebee’s and our server there got an easy $30 tip. To each their own!

Many years ago my two favorite bars were TGI Fridays and Bennigan’s. TGI Fridays had a great 10 layer dip and Bennigan’s had great nachos. Ah the good old days, plus both had good cold beer.
