Arguably the cleanest pizza place in town along with great tasting wood fired pie. Crust was bite through and had great maillard reaction on the dough. The cheese had great leoparding. Chicken wings we’re also cooked great. Mild sauce made in house had a slight spicy after bite which was great. Excellent service and reasonably priced.

Why have I not gone here sooner? I saw a special on Facebook and said I should try it out!! Well I ordered two pizzas and a dozen wings all wood fired. It was a take out order and I was told it’s better to eat in. Well when I got home and took the time to eat it was Excellent the next time I will definitely be eating in, and that may be this weekend

Came for the WOOD fired pizza, ordered the WOOD fired pizza, stared at the WOOD fired oven in anticipation, and received regular old pizza from a conventional oven. Asked about it and was told they cooked it in some other wood fired oven in the back. You can look in the kitchen from inside and outside, there is no said oven. Left disappointed. Staff was nice, wings were good. Please just be honest about your pizza. If you can’t use the wood fired oven for some reason just say so.

Creative, delicious, friendly, accommodating… really nice experience visiting here with our kids and friends! Something on the menu for everyone. Had a great time talking shop with the owner, happy to talk about the best wood for firing pizza, new flavors coming soon to the menu, and special events to look forward to! We had chicken bacon ranch pizza, jalapeño popper pizza, mozz stick pizza, and a variety of wings! Staff is intuitive, too… knew to check with my son on the pizza he ordered knowing that not all kids would expect Melba sauce! Everything was cooked perfectly and the recipes are designed well!

Tried the Wood-Fired pizza. Such a unique preparation. Pizza was prepared and cooked to perfection before I could finish my beer. I tried the mozzarella stick specialty pizza with Melba sauce. It’s awesome to see the whole process right from your seat. Great music and atmosphere as well. Wood fired pizza is my new favorite.

Wonderful pizza! We were quoted a time and our pizzas was ready a couple of minutes before. Just in time for us to walk over from the Amsterdam Castle hotel. Friendly staff and delicious pizza. Next time, I would definitely go with the Margherita pizza because it was awesome!

Great service, my wife and I had wings and onion rings on “wing” night (50 cents each) and we both enjoyed them. We will be back to try more selections from the menu. Nice place but could use more tables.

Highly recommend Southside Slice… Yes wood fired pizza is better in house, and I did have a pizza in house, but had a 40min drive back to Cohoes with 3 other pizzas so we just heated the slices up which were perfect. We also got the Cauliflower crust for the White Veggie pizza, which was the perfect combo. We also had the BBQ Chicken Pizza and a Margherita. Love the atmosphere and the owners and staff are super friendly ! Thank you Southside Slice for the amazing dinner tonight. The picture I’ve attached is the Buffalo chicken pizza straight out of the oven !
