What a fine place this is for dinner. We ate a bit early at 5 so the place was not busy yet. The restaurant is not real big so it might get loud. The service was top notch. The waitperson took good care of us and the bussers were spot on. I had the ribeye and it was packed with flavor. The risotto and lamb were also well received. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our meal (probably our third visit) and we will return.

Local family style Italian restaurant. Good service delivered promptly and unpretentiously. Freshly made bread and exquisite olive oil and balsamic reduction to go with it. One of the best tomato sauces I have eaten in my 75 years. Mine smothered sautéed calamari. Very nice dining experience.

Been coming here for 22 years and it’s always top-notch. I dined on amazing food in Lago Maggiore in Italy, and cried that I’d never eat that well again. Was delighted to find those insanely delectable dishes like Vitelo Tonnato and Chiatola in my hometown! Impeccable service, consistently excellent. Wonderful wine list too!

An acquaintance recommended Ca’Dario so we went for our anniversary. The service was good and the food was delicious. We chose to sit outside at their temporary/permanent sidewalk seating. We ordered ravioli with bolognese on top and sea bass. For dessert, cannolis and affogato.

Every time I find myself back in Santa Barbara, a visit to Ca’Dario is non-negotiable. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a place that holds a special spot in my heart. The love I have for this place is hard to put into words. Whether I’m stopping by myself or recommending it to someone heading to SB, Ca’Dario never disappoints. And oh, the white asparagus with bacon and balsamic vinaigrette? It’s a must-try. Love, love, love doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel about this dish and the entire experience at Ca’Dario. There were 3 service charges that were completely unexpected and totaled over $100… It started as a very happy occasion, my wife’s 79th birthday, with very good friends; but the greed of this establishment turned our precious time together into something ugly.
