This restaurant embodies what you would expect from a supper club while at your cabin up north. Old lodge-like building with a person playing the piano to set the mood. The food was very good, the walleye was the top meal. I was kind of hoping for the old-fashioned relish tray but no luck. Drinks were decent and the service was good. You’re probably going to need reservations so plan accordingly.

This place embodies everything a supper club should be. From the gracious and wonderful hostess, Jan, to our friendly and efficient waitress, Jenna, and the most succulent and tender prime rib I’ve ever tasted, you can’t get any better than this place. I hope to be back many times.

A real supper club!! This is not a new restaurant made to look older, it’s the real deal. Food and cocktails are always excellent!! Please remember this is a true supper club so service is not high speed. This is intentional and true to the supper club experience as it gives patrons more time to engage in conversation. Highly recommend!

We had a very disappointing experience. Our server was friendly at first, but then ignored us and was rude as our meal progressed. They were out of some items on the menu due to lack of delivery, and we were there when they opened. They would not let us move to a different, more desirable table even though it was available. The bill came as one total, but we were clearly several couples. When one couple questioned their charges, the waitress was rude.

Prior to our stop here we called the restaurant to ensure we could get a table and were told yes. No problem. We stopped for dinner less than 5 minutes later when we arrived we were seated in the bar area and chewed out by the hostess because we didn’t have a reservation. Lol. Told we would be fine less than 5 minutes on the phone before arriving. It wasn’t busy. There was 4 tables of customers and 2 people at the bar. The right hand don’t know what the left hand is doing here. We then didn’t get service so once again I got away from the table to talk to a young gal who appeared to also be the hostess. As I approached, another customer came up and was telling this young lady about how rude Her waitress was to her. I then asked for a couple menus and sat down. Then the large hostess came over with a huge attitude and once again said she was just being accommodating by LETTING us eat at their restaurant. Lol. Ok. We then felt out of place so asked the bartender if it was ok to eat in the bar section, his reply in a huff was “i don’t know – did your ask the hostess?” The hostess, bartender and wait staff were super rude so we left without eating. Don’t go here!

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We didn’t have a reservation, which I understand can be difficult to accommodate. We tried calling to make a reservation and couldn’t get thru. The host ignored us, then was short with us once we did get a chance to interact. I was grateful they were able to seat us in the bar area at a high top. Our server and meal were both excellent. I want to go back and will. The host is the first face and interaction, I’m glad we didn’t turn around and leave because that wasn’t pleasant.
