My frito pie was amazing. way bigger then I imagined. I couldn’t stop had to finish it. The drive in isn’t well signed, but if you know you definitely know. It is a hidden gem, and the burger was amazing also. Definitely easy to find once you’ve tasted the food you’re gonna remember the food!

Judging by the name and the recent reviews, we were stopping in for a quick delicious meal on our way through town to New Mexico. Unfortunately, they must have been extremely understaffed because it took OVER ONE HOUR to get our food. We have two little kids that we had to entertain in our truck while we waited and waited and waited. Once we got the food, it was at least hot and tasted home cooked instead of food service, but it should not have taken an hour to get 2 burgers, a grilled cheese, corn dog and some fries.

Ordered well done and both burgers were medium in the middle. The patty was very thin in some areas and very thick in others. Makes it hard to cook them consistently because of this. We just don’t eat raw burgers and prefer well done as we requested. Fries were not cooked completely so we had to squeeze them with paper towel beforehand. Could happen I suppose if they were slammed busy. But it was a little after 3 pm on a Tuesday they weren’t busy. I’ll say that the tea was good and fresh tasting. Last but certainly not least is $29 for two single patty combos with the drink. AND, you pay additional fees for paying with card. Everything has gone up everywhere but they have priced themselves out of the market imho. Meal, with fees and reasonable tip to the nice young lady would cost you around $38 for lunch. Try it out.

I had the cheese burger. Handmade patty quality meat. Just like the good Ole days come to your car to take your order. The burger was in a foil pouch it was still hot when I got home 15 minutes later, ot warm hot

The burgers are the real deal. You can tell they have been doing it for years and have it about as close to perfect as a place could. It’s a drive-up restaurant so stay in your vehicle when you park and somebody will come greet you and get your order. Very friendly staff and very good food.

Traveling thru Big Springs and asked HEB clerk where we could get a good hamburger. He suggested The Wagon Wheel. Great suggestion. Burger and fries were most excellent. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Bought burgers for a large group and they absolutely slaughter those burgers. I really dig the old school drive in style restaurant. We have to protect these Classics with our business.

I love a good burger, but their Texas Patty Melt is amazing! I love it. Their service is pretty good too. I usually call in my order & it’s usually ready by the time I get there to pick it up.
