Koi Sushi is located in 136 Main Street, Sayville NY 11782. We opened in August 2016. We specialized in Pan-Asian Fusion cuisine. The uniqueness of our cuisine starts with our all hand-made sauces, which are prepared on site with only the freshest produce and highest quality ingredients. We use traditional cooking technique and fuse them with a modern twist. Our food was expertly prepared, delicious and came to the table promptly. I was a little disappointed when the “tuna” combo I ordered arrived as a *salmon* combo. I brought it to our server’s attention, but she insisted that I had ordered salmon [which I didn’t and never have]. She very begrudgingly offered to exchange it for tuna, but I recognize how much work goes into preparing and presenting it, so I accepted it. I can’t recall the last time I sent food back because I just can’t stand waste and I don’t ever want to be demanding_customer_guy. Unfortunately, they made no effort to “meet me halfway” or offer a comp of any sort, which I found disappointing.

I was in this area and I read very bad reviews about this restaurant.I can’t say that I was surprised by this place.and yes it was edible, but I won’t say that it’s of very good quality.i ordered tuna bowl,and added red onion,which was cut into such large pieces that it was impossible to eat it all.All in all, I would not say that I would return to this place or recommend it to anyone.
