This was my first time trying food from here and the customer service and quality went above and beyond from the moment I called in my order to when I got in my car. The manager of the joint was very friendly and made sure my food was ready on time. Their $7 happy hour deal was incredible considering the amount of food that you get and is literally the best NYC style pizza I’ve had. It makes me sad that my internship is ending in a few weeks and I won’t be able to be as close, but I’d drive 5 hours every now and then just to try it again. I definitely recommend trying them out.

I received an order via DoorDash tonight that had a light brown piece of wood in the pizza. I called the restaurant to make them aware of this. The manager claimed that he uses basil stems in the sauce so it’s not bitter. He told me he can bet his life on the fact that I have a basil stem in my pizza. I’m an avid cook and can guarantee that this is not a basil stem but some sort of wood like a splinter or toothpick. He also told me this isn’t the first time someone called to complain about it….. most kitchens when using herbs that don’t stay in the sauce use a cheese cloth to allow the sauce to soak up the essence of what’s in the cloth without leaving inedible stems behind. Thankfully I didn’t give this piece to my child. The manager was very combative and had no resolution to the circumstance. Also, I got a salad and wings with none of the included dressings. I will definitely not be returning…..

The most disrespectful meal I have ever been served in my life!!! I ordered lasagna, they were out. So I changed to baked spaghetti, tried calling and they didn’t answer. I paid $25 for baked spaghetti and a side salad. No salad! They literally through red sauce on noodles… Pretty sure it’s pizza sauce and a slice of cheese. There is not an ounce of meat in this. Y’all should be absolutely ashamed of yourself!!

Philly cheesesteak was so juicy and delicious. Reasonably priced as well. Only thing is that bread was dry and no flavor. Would be better if the bread was buttered and seasoned. However, still beats the competition past midnight by a long shot. Will come back and try the pizza and other sandwich options.

As a recent Connecticut transplant, I am forever on the look out for my beloved NY style pizza that I absolutely must have. Moonlight pizza is exactly what I was hoping for! The pieces are large and thin and hang when held, just like the NY style back home. We ordered extra cheese, small, The small is pretty big, and honestly, to me, looked like a large, I am so glad I tried Moonlight Pizza,,, One more thing that is awesome about this place is they are open until FOUR AM! 4! anytime you have a craving for some delicious pizza they are there. 5 stars easily
