Absolutely delicious! Julie was such a great server. The place filled up fast even with a reservation. We had the seafood soup, scallop dinner with pasta, and the short ribs with veggies and potatoes. For dessert we had the raspberry Chocolate cake and fruit tart. Even the bread and oil dip was fantastic. The food was amazing and it was a great choice to celebrate a birthday here. Would absolutely return again.

Excellent small town restaurant. Well cared for dishes and excellent service. Cozy. Fine dining, of course not. The best food experience you will find in this area? Absolutely! Classy. Couldn’t imagine waiting at Red Lobster with this gem a few minutes away.

My family went to the grotto tonight for a last supper before we all head home. My mom has been telling us to go , it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and Patrick was awesome! Give it a try if you haven’t been there.

Had a good meal with exceptional service! We had the crab cakes (good), hearts of romaine (loved the crispy capers instead of croutons), stuffed pepper wrapped in chorizo (good but probably wouldn’t order it again) and NY strip with mash (good). Bread and spiced olive oil a great start. Nice atmosphere (loved the tin ceiling). Fantastic waitstaff.

First time eating here. Small place bar area separate from dining area. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. For appetizer we had cold water clams it was amazing. For entrees we had scallops and fillet mignon it was excellent. Reasonable price. Julie, our waitress provided great service. We will return!

Our dinner experience was very nice. We didnt have a reservation but arrived right whrn they opened, the staff seemed concerned about us wanting a table without one but sat us anyway. I thought this was starnge because it was a monday at 4pm but the resturant slowly got busier and busier as time went on. I appreciated them seating us even though they knew they’d be busy.

Great dinner spot AND open on Mondays unlike most restaurants. Had a nice dinner here for my daughter’s birthday on Monday. I have to start with the service – Mark took care of us and did he ever. GREAT job, Mark, thank you. Attentive, knowledgeable and even passionate about the dishes being served. Everything was very good. Some of the BEST warm and fresh dinner bread to start as well. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing! Mark was fantastic as well as the whole staff! My husband and I’s 1 year wedding anniversary and we decided to give a new place a try!
