Food is amazing. One meal will fill two. Or buy two and have left overs the following day. They do have a bar so you can order beer and mix drinks. Service is fast. I enjoyed the Mexican Feast meal that has shrimp, steak, chicken in a white sauce over rice.

We have visited several times and got stuck in a rut ordering the same thing. It was delicious but this time I wanted to try something new. I asked the waiter what was his favorite. He recommended the Popeye Special. So I ordered it. Shrimp with white meat chicken strips, onions, peppers and spinach and two sides. Wonderful blend of textures and flavors. Plus the spinach “made me feel as strong as Popeye”. Yum. Yum.

Wonderful place! Delicious drinks and food! Great staff, clean atmosphere, and they have a nice patio for outdoor dining! Great kids menu for picky eaters. I highly recommend!

Best Mexican Restaurant in the area. Great location right in the middle of Downtown Spencer NC which is also home to North Carolina Transportation Museum! The food is always fresh, delicious, & plenty. This Friday night visit featured a Mariachi Band. We listen to them while dining Al fresco on the patio! Highly recommend this place!!

It’s conveniently located across the street from the NC Transportation Museum, so it’s a good place to grab a bite to eat if you’re visiting the museum around lunchtime. The service is friendly and quick, but the dish I had, the Enchilada Vallarta, was OK. It came with too much queso on it, so mostly all I could taste was the cheese, not much of the crab or shrimp. I’m hesitant to judge them on just one visit and one dish because it seemed like they were a popular spot for lunch based on the number of people coming in as I left.

The food was very good and fresh, however, it was slightly bland in my opinion. I felt like the salt and spicy heat of Mexican food was lacking. I will say that my mother, who doesn’t like spicy food, loved it. The restaurant is in a very quaint and cute part of town and the outdoor dining patio is very nice.

After a long day at the Transportation Museum, this place was a welcome oasis. The servers were great. The salsa was fresh and tasted so. We would definitely go back
