Was so disappointed in the overall quality of the food. The cheese biscuits were amazing, but the rest of the food was just so so. Two in our party had the broiled cod and it was so tough that one person asked for deep fried instead. On a positive note, our waitress was quite pleasant and very helpful to one person in our group who has special dietary needs. Our beverages were kept refilled as well. Including tip it was $42.00 for my husband and I, which us too much for food that was not of great quality.

My family went here after a basketball game. We had never heard of this place so we did not know what to expect. It was superb. A couple people from our party had special requests and they accommodated it with ease. Our waitress (megan?) was great. She was very knowledgeable and bubbly. We live 40 min. away and we will definitely be back. Thanks.

Very salty food. The risotto was not the greatest. Flavor combinations are not that great either. The waitress seemed unable to provide information about substitution requests without running into the kitchen to check with, I’m assuming,the chef. For a small crowd it seemed to take quite a long time for our food. Pushed the beer refills a bit too much. I will have to think twice about going again.

Waitress had to apologize all night for the slow kitchen (which was no big deal as we weren’t in a hurry) and then 4 of our 7 main courses were cooked wrong. Not just slightly wrong as though they forgot the onions or something simple. Med Rare cooked to well, and well done cooked to just short of leather and all baked potatoes were cold. We let the server know and was told she would let the kitchen and the “boss” know, and carried on. We sent nothing back to be recooked thinking it was the right thing to do because of how long it already took. When it came time for the bill to be paid, we asked if the boss had anything to say or was even going to stop by the table, and we were once again told “sorry” and handed our bill. Almost $500 for 7 people and not even a offering of a complimentary dessert. We were not walk ins and had reservations two days in advance. Way over priced for that kind of food preparation and treatment.

Stopped here for a late afternoon lunch around 2:30 traveling back from Door County to Illinois. Server very friendly. Big lunch menu. There were 4 of us and we all thought the food was great. I had the shrimp tacos with onion rings, 2 others had chicken breast supreme and 4th had a burger. Plenty of food for the price. Would definitely stop back if in the area.

Extremely disappointed we were sat at our table and two other tables were sat after ours and wait staff immediately approached them and NEVER approached ours. We expressed our dissatisfaction and left. VERY VERY poor service. To add we were the only people in the restaurant and the first of the three couples sat, so we should have been the first to be approached. This was our first and LAST visit.
