The place seems to be a local favourite. On the plus sides, portions are extremely generous. My calzone could have fed 4 people. I was envisioning a smaller dish, but that is fine. The ingredients were mostly fresh…I had spinach in my calzone which was boiled to death though and unpleasantly soggy. For the rest, nearly no flavour…almost no herbs (no taste of basil or oregano), just lots of cheese (as requested). The mozzarella sticks were slabs that were breaded and deep fried, gooey, but the dipping sauce was flat as well (same one as came with the calzone). Little or no salt nor anything to raise the savoury component. Timing was quick, I chose pickup. It’s a delivery place so atmosphere is marginal, but the folks in the restaurant were friendly and efficient. Tweaking the preparation could mov them to dominate this space, as several fundamentals are very good (fresh ingredients, decent dough). Ah well.

Decent thin crust pizza, fast service. Flavor could be improved with more spices. Left disappointed that they wanted to charge $2 for a few chili flake and parmesan packets when I was picking up the pizza.

This was definitely a good one to do. Stopped by for lunch just as they were opening up. Ordered the Pietro and Margherita pizza. Ordered the Italian special grinder as well. The Pietro pizza was nice. The grated garlic stands out with a nice mild flavor. Not overpowering. Now the Margherita pizza was simply delicious. Every bite of it you taste all the flavors including the basil. This was our favorite. Then we had the grinder. The balsamic glaze is the star of this show. It makes everything else on this grinder simply taste better and it already tasted good. Good ingredients for sure. Definitely coming back

Pizza is great, love the sauce. Only issue I have is at times when trying to call 30 minutes prior to their closing time you may not get an answer. Tried calling today (10/17) at 8:30 and no answer, drove there thinking maybe they were busy and it was already closed up.

Got to say this is the best pizza around. I just found them little over a year an feel in love with them not a big menu but perfect. There sauce is great very fresh u can taste how fresh it is the cheese that they use for pizza melts awesome price is at a great price point my wife feel in love with the caprese salad not sure if I spelt it right very friendly phone ppl and there delivery drivers are very friendly and actually talk to the customers when they do there drop offs they say 45 mins to a hour and always way early so two thumbs up keep doing a great job with everything your doing Love from old town rd

We are from NY where pizza is supposed to be the best, we recently moved to this area and so far this is the BEST pizza with NY quality and flavor (and I’ll add that even better than some places in NY) seriously do not hesitate in order Italian food here! I highly recommend the Shrimp Casino, it’s extremely delicious and dangerously addictive! Love it!!!

Great service, pizza is getting to the point of “spectacular” just need those ovens to mature, wood fired and I believe same recipes as the original but nice char, chewy crust – ingredients so fresh creeping up on my best pizza list. Everything is nice. I highly recommended this place. Must try.

Visiting from Western PA for Father’s Day, and couldn’t wait to try this new location. I was getting pizzas from Carmine at the original location on Capitol over 30 years ago, and this place was just as good. Always a quality product, we ordered 3 pies and they were all fantastic.
