Coastal Cantina has definitely improved since the last time I was here. I really enjoyed it over a year ago but I went last weekend and was impressed. Fun and friendly staff, food was REALLY tasty and you can tell they’re getting better quality ingredients and the cocktails were delicious (and strong)! I’ll definitely be going back more often!

Ordered via delivery for a special they were running. We ordered 2 chicken burritos and 2 carne asada loaded fries. It had an option for no pico which I selected, onions otherwise weren’t mentioned in the description. Upon getting the delivery all 4 items had onions and lots of them. Definitely don’t eat at this place if you have any kind of food allergies!!!

We love coming to Coastal Cantina. The food is delicious and the service is always friendly. The owner comes out to say hi when she can. We love the margaritas… Make it a Cadillac if you’re feeling especially adventurous. My favorite is the pork belly taco but the coastal salad is also delicious. For brunch we had huevos ranchers and chillaquilas. I had a guava Bellini. Come visit and have great drinks, a friendly atmosphere and yummy food

The wait for our food was borderline obnoxious. Place was not busy. 5 stars if it weren’t for the wait. Big portions and delicious burritos.

My favorite bar in the area! The service and drinks are on point. The watermelon margaritas are made with fresh agua fresca and they are delicious!

We did a road trip all through California and this was by far the worst meal we had on the trip, and honestly in general. My girlfriends shrimp was not deveined, and when we brought it up we were told it was still edible. The silverware was dirty, the queso was canned nacho cheese, and my burrito was clearly microwaved. Would never return here again and do not recommend.

Delicious and large portions. The service is great, everyone is friendly and they have outdoor seating so you can bring your dog.

Came here with my wife. The food was below the standard you’d expect for Mexican food in San Diego. The salsa was also way too spicy and made it inedible. The only plus was the friendly bartender.
