So I gave it 3 stars for service for a couple of reasons. I ordered a small meatball sub and got a large instead. I wanted it toasted and it was maybe warmed but not toasted, and I don’t think a small sub and soda and a bag of chips should cost $15. I ate better a Ruby’s for 5 dollars more.

I have been ordering gambinos since i was a child growing up in the treet streets of Bangor. I recently moved to state street and am there twice a week. The servce is always great, prompt,friendly, accurate…its not the employees at all that earned this low rating. Its the pizza! For the first time ever…it sucks! There is virtually no flavor. The crust and the sauce is so bland. I even questioned if maybe i had covid and my sense of taste was gone. But two other people confirmed the problem. What is going on? Is the recipe noy being followed? There is no garlic or herbs ANYWHERE on that pizza. Im so dissapointed!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!!!! I have never in my life experienced such bad service especially from an owner who should stand behind his business and clean the black mold off of the walls before he serves food to the public. The phone call I had was the most lack of civility in any consumer context. I worked at a pizza place for almost a year and no one has ever spoken to customer like this man did to me. And we did not get oil for our Italian subs
