Haven’t been here in a while. The food was ok. We had some wings. Which did not have much flavor. I am not sure what the red sauce is in the wings. I ordered one meat taco. The grease soaked through the taco shell before it got to the table. I also had some sort of pulled pork. Very greasy. It was not my favorite. We also had the loaded pulled pork nachos. Which were ok. The atmosphere was ok. Service for us was slow. Appeared to be a large party that kept the Server preoccupied.

I have had the pleasure of enjoying Anita’s breakfast burritos at my job’s catered events but have recently visited this location on Sunday morning for breakfast.

I’ve heard for an inexpensive, tasty breakfast, the local Anita’s chain is worth checking out. Overall, it didn’t disappoint. We were tempted to do takeout, but the morning was quiet so we sat down for breakfast. I didn’t know quite what to expect for the size, so I went with three burritos which worked out well. I had the basic BB, the Big Guy, and the Adovado. Big Guy might have been my favorite, though I’d love to try more of their options.

Cane here with 2 of my employees for lunch. One of them found a huge hair in his food. The food lacked flavor and the dough on my empanadas was under cooked. Also the beer was flat off the tap. We then ordered bottled Corona, and somehow they were flat as well. Kinda upset I wasted my time and money.

As a person who grew up in New Mexico, this is not New Mexican food. They are very red chile heavy, most places in NM are green chile heavy. About the only time people get red is when they want their food Christmas style (half red and helf green). The potatoes in the burritos aren’t crispy enough. It would be nice if they scrambled the eggs with all the other ingredients would be better to me. The burritos feel put together like a Chipotle, instead of made together. The huevos ranchers was more authentic, but something still felt lacking. One thing that I miss from NM and they don’t have, nobody has outside of NM, is stuffed sopapillas. I think if they included some other very New Mexican things, like green chile cheeseburgers, even if they aren’t “Mexican food”, but at least New Mexican, would make me feel more confident in calling this place New Mexican style. And what is with charging for sopapillas!

Convenient location. My grandparents love this restaurant and have eaten here for years. We stopped in on our way home (out of state) to pick up food for them. Fast and easy to order.

The two employees working the front of the house the night we came in did a fantastic job. They were hustling between tables, making drinks, while apologizing for being understaffed. We told them they were doing great. My partner and I had the fried ice cream and the churros and both were delicious.

Sloppy good comfort meal. Good service and the smothered chicken chimichanga and refried beans with green chili sauce was so good. The chicken wasn’t dried out flavorless pulled white meat. Chips and salsa were fine, not as good as guapos. Definitely want to come back for breakfast.
