After one week stay in Hawaii, I am really glad we found this typical Chinese taste! Yummy for everything! Won’t miss home since I fed myself good! Love it!

Really enjoy the green beans, toothpick cumin lamb, the fried chicken, and tan tan mian. We got the fish pieces this time and it was a little sweet, wanted even more fire in the belly. Overall very good and way better than most Chinese restaurants in the US, but there’s a little space for more heat.

The dishes are wok fried properly and freshly. This would beat 75% of Chinese restaurants I have visited. No wonder they were once on Michelin Guide in 2019.

Are you looking for super doper spicy food? Well Chengdu taste is the place your looking for! It’s has the MOST SPICY food in the whole wide world, it has food like Kung Fu chicken, BBQ, noodle and many more that awaits you to come and eat. If you have a small child or a person who can’t eat spicy, they have no spicy noodle you can eat. They also have the fastest service ever! In less in a second, the food comes.

Love here so much! The staff are so nice, without them i don’t know how to handle all the things on my own. My boy friend has a emergency seizure for no reason, the staff help us with the luggage, and accompany me until we went to the hospital. Thank you all so much!!! Forgot to ask your names, but so many gratitudes.

Chengdu taste was our favorite Chinese restaurant in Honolulu. For the past several years, every summer we visited Honolulu, we went there at least three times. However I was so so disappointed today by the service and food there. The fried rice was stick together with no taste. The double cooked pork used bacon and only had no more than two slices of bacon in the dish which the price is $20. The steam buns were as hard as stones. I asked the waitress why they were so hard and was told they were cooked by microwave. As a good cooker and foodie, I think they must microwave the buns for several times from the other leftover dish, because three of the buns were soft and three were hard as stone. I understand the price raised almost 20%-30% in the past couple of years, but I can’t accept the food quality is getting much more worse in the Same time. If you are a Chinese American who knows what a good Sichuan food should taste like, run from this restaurant, at least before they change the chef.
