We had a really nice dining experience! It’s a Friday night, so it was a little lively. But the service was absolutely excellent, and the food and drink was great! The guys had campfire burgers with fries, and I had a Mushroom Swiss burger. I will say that the cider and the beer on path was really great, and one of us ordered a blueberry Martini that smelled and tasted absolutely heavenly. There’s the overwhelming smell of blueberries and it was nice. Would definitely visit again.

I do enjoy finding these local places where everyone seems to know everyone. Usually makes for an entertaining evening. This place is just that. Atmosphere was great with a large horseshoe bar and smaller dining room. Service was decent, that about all I can say there. Food wasn’t that good. I have the stuffed shrimp and the crab tasted bland and may have been imitation, not sure on that one. Some of the other menu items did sound good but that’s what I went with.

My fiance and I have eaten here multiple times and we love it everytime. Our favorite thing to order is the trooper special and the Buffalo wings but we’ve never ordered something that wasn’t delicious when it came to the table!

So this place really went the extra mile tonight. It’s Father’s Day, I had called a couple days ago to make sure they were still doing their prime rib specials on Saturday Sunday and Monday which they are, and we intended on going to dinner Sunday night to celebrate Father’s Day. We got there at about 6:50 p.m. were seated promptly. Waitress came over and said I’m sorry we’re closed they shouldn’t have seated you the last seatings we were taking we’re at 5:30. At first I thought she was joking but clearly she was being honest. She went into the kitchen and came back a few minutes later and said absolutely no problem we still have plenty of everything and there’s no problem serving you. First this is exceptional, It wasn’t their fault because they only decided the day before that they would close at 5:30 because that was their last reservation time that they had accepted. Thus this was not conveyed to me when I called a couple of days before. But they were going to accommodate us and they still had prime rib, rare the way I like it. My wife had the veal parmesan I have course had the prime rib and everything was exceptional.This place out did themselves. Thanks to all at the restaurant for being just the way we’ve always seen you be in the past. Keep up the good work we love you.

What a wonderful pub! Came in for the first time tonight and wasn’t disappointed at all. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. Tried their New England clam chowder and at every last spoonful, then wiped out the bowl with the bread. Enjoyed a very large chop steak with a yuengling and nearly cried on my first bite but didn’t because my tears dare not touch the homemade gravy. Prices are reasonable and they have other options perfect for lunch as well as dinner. Very big on the inside and great location for parties r date night. Parking is ample, staff is attentive and hospitable and atmosphere offers classic tavern experience (beer mirrors and neon lights).
