very beautiful place, the waitress was kind and friendly, everything was clean, as well as a beautiful view from the window on passing cars. The utensils were great and the sushi sticks were original, not just plain pieces of wood. The food is very tasty and CHEAP. I recommend. 5 out of 5.

Authentic from the moment you walk in. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food was absolutely incredible. The fish was fresh and flavorful. The Kumamoto oysters from Japan were perfect and prepared beautifully. I would recommend giving this place a try 10/10.

A hidden gem. I’ve been to a lot of sushi restaurants in the Sacramento region and this is undoubtedly at the top of the list. Highly recommend the OMG roll and the oysters!

Second time dining here… really really wanted to give it a 5 star after my first experience. However, one of my rolls had the worst unchewable seaweed I’ve ever had. Today I had ordered a large hot sake, miso soup and 3 rolls 1. Double Toro, 2. Douglas, and a 3. Miyabi. I had doubts about the double Toro because of other reviews mentioning overpowering taste of horseradish.. turnt out it was my favorite! Douglas no complaints, delicious roll. Miyabi on the other hand had the worst seaweed wrap I’ve ever experienced in my life. It was unchewable to the point that I was literally spitting out the seaweed as a whole piece after each slice of roll I attempted to eat. Megan our server accommodated our table of 9 people incredibly well. Everything we asked for was brought forth accordingly. Service was outstanding. Didn’t complain about the Miyabi roll to the server, but definitely was less than edible.

I had some of the best sushi of my life in this place last week. I am not a sushi expert by any means, but we occasionally dabble in trying out new sushi restaurants. We got the Creamy Maguri sushi roll (pic attached), and trust me it will blow your mind. I would eat this roll everyday if I could! It has Cream cheese, crab salad, topped with avocado, tuna, tobiko and green onions! It is very authentic inside, very prompt service, our rolls came out super fast. We will for sure be back!

Ordered takeout during happy hour to take back to Kaiser, and both me and my wife LOVED this sushi. You cannot beat the happy hour prices of this place. I don’t understand why it wasn’t completely packed. The fish is of good quality, the sushi was made with care and both looked and tasted great, and the sauces were actually really good too!

We went here for some amazing sushi especially the double salmon roll. So tasty! The food was great. Definitely wanna come back. I tried a raw oyster and it was good. Good flavors for sure. The sashimi was good as well. Loved the salmon loin dipped in the soy sauce.

I have been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. The fish is always super fresh and the rice is perfect. You can really tell that the chefs care and put a lot of love into the food. I came in an hour before closing (which I hate doing ). They still gave me excellent friendly service. My server was super cute and had a cool hair cut. I don’t know her name but she did a great job.
