Stopped in today after walking across walking bridge and wandering around for food. Local was coming out and gave rave reviews regarding portion size and price. Was not off at all. Put in large order, svd food started coming out almost right away. Owner came out and checked on us a few times. All folks working there super nice. Portions were huge. Everyone happy in our group. Don’t live anywhere near by….so can’t say I’ll be there again soon….but if I was…I’d stop in again. Guy next to us ordered the calzone.. thing was huge. Wanted one, but dad wanted to split a pizza…so had to go that route.

Im serious when it comes to reviews so I must be honest, this is the BEST Italian food in Poughkeepsie. I have tried many restaurants (Italian )and they just can’t compete to the meal I had for dinner . I walked in and was greeted, the costumer service was lovely and another worker was talking to a parent and his child about the child’s meal it was nice to see the workers valuing their customers . I placed an order of Alfredo pasta added some chicken and broccoli and a side order of fries . I was expecting a small order of fries and a medium sized bowl of pasta . I paid 20.34 , I was handed a big bag of food! I go home to open it , AMAZED . The pasta could have fed my whole family , full of broccoli and chicken. Delicious absolutely delicious , the fry’s were the same size as the pasta ; full to the top with golden fries . Back to the pasta , the sauce was not too creamy which was perfect. I definitely will be coming back ! (These pictures are after I took my portion out !)

Good pizza, but nothing to write home about. Sauce is nice and tangy, slightly thicker crust and proportionately heavy on the cheese. Though my quest for an ideal pizza without a schlep to NYC continues, I’ll probably be back: someone at the next table had the pan pizza and it looked amazing.

I used to enjoy your pies, but my recent orders have been disappointing. The bottom of the pies have been burnt and the taste is unpleasant. I kindly suggest cleaning your ovens to improve. Do not think asking for it lightly cooked is the fix, as tonight it was nice and light. but the bottom BLACK

My sister & I started to come here every Monday’s for a slice of pizza, their pizza slice is bigger than usual and it’s so delicious, moving from nyc to beacon I haven’t found a good pizza spot until we visited Poughkeepsie. Their pizza is so good and very cozy beautiful restaurant, I really wish they was located in beacon too!

Sumptuous food with a delightful, authentic, family-friendly environment! Very courteous staff. Italian music playing overhead, not overly loud. Lovely decorations from or about Italy. Sodas and bottled water from a refrigerator (not on draft). Spotlessly clean, including the bathroom. Prices very affordable.
