Tamarack Farms is located among the tall towering pines in the beautiful Northwoods of Hayward, Wisconsin, and is surrounded by some of the most crystal-clear pristine spring fed lakes found anywhere in America. Throughout the years, Wisconsin has been the home to many award-winning breweries because of the quality of the water and the rich soils making it the perfect home for many abundant, thriving farms. The water we make our wines with comes from deep within water wells that tap some of cleanest aquifers and reach all the way into Canada, which were created back in the ice age when glaciers covered most of this area.

The wings were to die for!!! I need hot sauce with 99.9% of the things I eat, but these were sooo delicious & full of flavor I did not need it! However, I wish they did have a HOT bbq they served with their food, because to me the 3 that were provided were pretty mild.

It was a great place with nice wine. The sangria was excellent. I had the farm pizza which was excellent. Others in our party had the beef brisket, pulled pork and chicken tenders which were also very good. We were in the screened dining area which was very comfortable. It was like dining outside but protected from the mosquitos. They also had a large wide open greenspace that the grandkids had fun playing on.

Very nice place. We had the farmhouse salad with smoked chicken breast, smoked garlic parmesan wings, and a pizza to go. All were very tasty. My only complaint would be that we found the wings to be a bit salty. Still 5 star experience. Their wine was very good as well

Wish I had taken pictures of the Brisket sandwich and chicken tenders! They were so good! I ordered to go and did not mention any sauces, they loaded me up with 3 homemade BBQs and a honey mustard! All so good but the honey mustard was incredible. Tenders were some of the best I’ve ever had, the breading was really light but super crispy and delicious! Wow, I was pleasantly surprised this level of BBQ was served at a “winery”! Almost forgot the cornbread was also insanely good! The pizza looked really good as well

Macaroni Pizza??? Are you for real..? Great idea guys, we loved it! On top of that they have excellent brisket, coleslaw and corn on the cob. Next time I’m trying the full slab of ribs. I’m sure that will be phenomenal as well.

Our server, Courtney, was a rockstar. She was all over the place, but remained attentive to our table. She was helpful with wine and slush samples. We ordered ribs, brisket, Mac and cheese pizza, cole slaw, beans and cornbread. It was all quite delicious. The ribs had a good pull and chew without being tough. The brisket didn’t really have an abundant smoke flavor and lacked bark..but was very tender. The pizza and sides were a big hit, as well.

So far we have tried the Chicken tenders, pizza, ribs, and salad which were all absolutely delicious. It sure would be wonderful if they brought back the garbage can lid with the rotisserie chicken. Many people I talk to say they miss that!

A new favorite place for us! Staff was friendly and on point. Never a time that we had to look for service. Fun decor and the food was amazing! We tried everything on the menu and encourage you to as well. Great selection of wines plus beers if someone in your party needs something different. Lots of unique wines from small craft wineries plus their own. We will be back many times.
