If you are driving through or local, it is worth the stop. I drove the miles for the chefburger, based on a review and it was SO worth it!!!! Man, I made mine with cheese. The burger was cooked to perfection and magnificent. Fried and coleslaw disappeared almost as fast. But, as good as those were, it was the strawberry shortcake that made me dance in my seat. Oh my so good.

7.17.22 3 of us walked in and it felt like everyone stopped what they were doing as the radar, “not a local” went off lol. But soon we blended right in. The place is old. Very old. Inside it’s old. But the 2 ladies who waited on us were efficient and fast. The food came out hot and was delicious. The home fries were crisp and had small pieces of well cooked onions. Perfection. We loved our breakfast.

Went slightly off route with a motorcyle group for breakfast here. Atmosphere was warm & inviting, food excellent, service was impeccable. This was probable the best breakfast we’ve had in 20 years of touring around North America. Highly recommend it.

Went for breakfast. Food was 10/10 and the prices unbeatable! No extra charge for things like coffee, homefries etc. Service was very welcoming and friendly. For breakfast the food quality and price makes this one of the best restaurants in the region. Worth a drive if coming from out of town. Thanks!

Just moved to Bloomfield VT across the river from Claudette & Dean’s place. Tried it this morning and it was great! Super homemade bread, great crisp hash and fantastic coffee. We’ll be trying lunch and Dinner.
