I absolutely love their food! Pork chops are the best, chicken, greens, that sweet potato cobbler, omg the best! We’ve tried several menu items. We ate here several times. We would eat there much more if their hours were consistent. We drive from the other side of town, because no one ever answers the phone, and they are usually closed. Very disappointing because my husband and I would be there 3-4 times a week if they were open more with better hours. By the time we get off work they are normally closed, by 3:30-4pm?! Once one of the employees told me that they hours are based on their business, if they are slow on any given day they will close early….

Wanted meatloaf but that’s only on Tuesday . Got fried whiting , collard greens, mac & cheese, baked beans, and sweet potato casserole. Tried everything, it’s all amazing. Would only add Texas Pete to the greens. portion sizes, awesome! I’ll definitely be back to get the meatloaf.

I had the special which was Liver and Onions. My sides were collard greens and black eyed peas. Everything was delicious. No room to eat inside. Plan to take out. Building was a little rough looking almost overlooked it. Looked more like automotive shop from the outside (but I’m from out of town not a local). Literally a hole in the wall kind of place. But the staff were nice and food was so good.

Went there just about an hour ago got the wings for my son with Mac and cheese and baked beans. Got me regular wings with Mac and cheese and greens and my man got fried pork chops with Mac and cheese and greens and I got sweet potatoe cobbler and when I tell you it was the best soul good I had in a long time it was so dang good. I would definitely go back that’s for sure…

Please don’t fry anymore pork chops they’re tuff and dry like leather! I was disappointed but the Mac and cheese and green beans were very tasty. I wish I had a phone number…I want a refund!

I enjoy the food, it’s delicious and the staff are very nice but they don’t have consistent hours which is very frustrating when you’re going out of the way just to get your food.

I ordered the perch,sweet potatoes and collard greens and OMG it was cooked to perfection. I will only eat my soul food at this restaurant and the customer service was just as good. If you want some excellent soul food then go check them out!

This small place is really good. Being a fried chicken lover , I had to check them out. Although I wasn’t impressed by the outside, you can’t always judge a book by its cover. The prices were decent. I ordered wings, mac and cheese a vegetable. I waited in my car and they summoned me to return to pick it up. The food was great! Although, I live in Gahanna and this place was on Sunbury rd ( going south) , I will be sure to go back for the perch and candy yams. And probably more mac and cheese. Go and check them out. Remember: don’t judge by the outside appearance. You may miss some good food. I wish they had peach cobbler. Lol
