This was the kind of first-time visit that makes us want to go back for more! We made a spontaneous visit at 5pm on a Friday and lucked out to get a seat on the patio. Molly was our server, and she was fantastic–very busy, but we were never left lacking. I had cider while my husband had a beer. The menu has a broad selection of items, but we were drawn to the same thing on this visit–the fried walleye. I ordered it with side salad and rice pilaf, while my husband ordered an extra filet and with fries on the side.

Best walleye sandwich of this trip. Served with tater tots ($3 extra). The grilled walleye fillet was perfectly cooked, nice flaky meat. It’s worth looking around in the town of Red Wing.

This restaurant is an excellent option for many different occasions. It is a sports bar with better food and a good selection of drinks. I really enjoy the rib eye, which comes in a 10 ounce or 16 ounce, and my wife likes the steak on a stick. Both cuts are generous, tender and flavorful!

Excellent food, great service, friendly people! The host squeezed our family in right before dinner rush, even though we didn’t get a reservation. Service was quality and timely. Great variety on the menu and food was prepared perfectly! Heather was a great server! Awesome view of the river from our booth.

One of my new faves! Mindy was the BOMB! Pickle fries and Pistachio Cream Ale and The Beast are musts!! Unfortunately the patio was closed due to construction, so looking forward to the next time. Great swag and pie too!

Food was decent, was disappointed that they didn’t have chicken alfredo as I was craving it (went with a group). Had the walleye instead. Got what was supposed to be their homemade tarter sauce, but it tasted like blue cheese dressing.

Interior was nice. Staff was super polite and friendly. Great service. Food was delicious and came fast. Ordered the broiled walleye. Excellent! I am on a strict diet for medical issues, they had options that works for many diets. Highly recommend! Gorgeous views in summer on the river with outdoor dining and cocktails it looks like

When my mom came to town I had to take her to Bayside. Local favorite spot! The service was friendly and fast. The food was fresh, hot and mouthwateringly tasty. The spices on that Cajon chicken sandwich gave your tongue a taste bud delight. And those fresh handmade burgers are some of the best around. Although I’m not happy with the town for how they positioned the bridge going into next door that messed up the beautiful view of the river well see what it looks like when the bridge is finished. All in all great drinks, delicious food, small town atmosphere. I like this place. So good that when Jay Lenno came to town this is where he ate. Try the steaks!

Came on a holiday without a reservation, but still got an immediate table on the patio. Staff was as nice as could be and we love the view next to the footbridge. We’re usually towing a trailer when we come through Red Wing, so we park at the park by the river that has super easy parking and take the footbridge over to this area to eat.
