Food is exactly what you would expect from a sushi and hibachi steak house. From a large selection of rolls to great selection of sushi and sashimi options. The deluxe sushi and sashimi entree comes with fresh wasabi which is also an excellent choice. Good quantity of hibachi meals with quality meats and seafood. Not as entertaining as the other venues in town, however that service will always vary with your chef.

My husband & I visited this restaurant before going to a movie. We have Hibachi restaurants where we live in the Pittsburgh area, and Nikki’s blew them away!! The food was amazing!! The friendly chef did not use too much salt as he was seasoning our food. We also loved having carrots in with the vegetable medley! They used green leaf lettuce instead of head lettuce to go along with the delicious ginger dressing. The clear soup was a bit too peppery for my taste buds. Our server was very attentive. I would definitely eat there again next year when we visit our second hometown.

Had the Tuna Tataki and Nikkis Special Steak and Scallops. The Scallops were cooked perfectly. I enjoyed both! Also the ginger dressing for the salad was very tasty. I would return and recommend.

One star for the food and one star for the server we FINALLY got. We were there for around 15 minutes and no one came to take our drink order. I had to stop another waitress to ask who our waiter was. The person that finally decided to come get our drink order was the hostess and she had a terrible attitude. I wonder what her attitude was for when me and my family were the ones who were sitting and waiting for 15 mins. Thankfully she was not our waitress and another woman came who was amazing. It should have been a red flag when the parking lot was almost empty on a Saturday night but, we smelled the food from where we were and wanted to try it out. Would recommend for the food but not the service.

Decided to give Nikki’s a try, we live nearby and have never been. Soon as I walked in it felt dark and dreary, I just been outside in the sun and my mood was instantly changed by the interior and smell. It was not pleasant. It was 2 in the afternoon I did not see anyone else inside restaurant beside husband & I. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls. I thought maybe the food will be amazing and all this won’t matter. Unfortunately, not the case. Food was average. My husband thought the sushi tasted the same as what he gets at Harris Teeter. Our waitress, Hannah must have been in a rush to get rid of us because she brings me a to go box while I’m still eating. Rude. And then the check. Does even speak as we leave. We were not impressed with Nikkis at all.

My friends threw me a surprise birthday party here. It started off with the restaurant putting us in the wrong area but we dealt with it, no big deal. We waiting 15 minutes for a server, then 5 minutes on drinks. We all ordered sushi (raw food) An hour later, no one had come to the table or explained why it was taking so long. We had to find the server and ask why sushi for a group of 6 was taking an hour, she went to the back and our food came out. None of us could hold it with chopsticks because it was mushy and falling apart, meaning it sat out too long. No one came out and to apologize or give any kind of explanation as to why a party of 6 had been completely left alone and ignored, a birthday party at that. We didn’t expect much but we were there to eat and drink. The server was so hard to find the entire time we couldn’t get refills on any drinks and decided against making a night of it and ordering more. We had empty water glasses and had to keep hunting our server down. It was dead in there on a Wednesday night. We had planned on being in and out in 45 minutes and ordering more food. We all love sushi and none of us will be returning after the service we received, being ignored and given old food after an hour wait. We were there July 12th

Food isn’t bad but nothing special. We went for lunch and were very surprised they don’t have a lunch menu at all. Wasn’t really wanting dinner size portion at 12:30. They didn’t have actual waitstaff either, the one guy was doing everything from tables to kitchen.

HORRIBLE!! My Korean gf took us here. Ordered fried chicken and vegetables and it was so flavorless and cheap!! They even fried the veggies in the same cheap oil The rice was hard and surely old! I gave the whole meal to my girl and now she’s sick!!! We got a sushi roll and it was tiny, not a real roll. Horrible food that took forever for horrible prices. Save ur selves!!!

Standard hibachi place, but food tasted excellent. I also got a bunch sushi. Soo good. Only negative, tried several cocktails and they were just ok. Finished with some saki bombs though, always a good time.
