The pricing is outrageous for the portion sizes and quality of food, their Cole slaw is dry with no flavor, the burnt ends plate was dry and very tough The Mac n cheese is thin and watery with almost no flavor, the pulled pork was dry, Sauce less and flavorless. Overall the toast without butter and the baked beans were the best part of the meal.

So first off I am glad to see a new restaurant/food spot open in Albany. The service was great as well. My complaint/ opinion is the meat portion was very very small. I got the burnt ends plate and there was maybe 2-3 ounces of meat maybe. The beans honestly tasted like they were straight out of the can too. Mac n cheese was decent. Bbq sauce is very good. The banana pudding was the best I have had. Now I am not cheap when it comes to food, however for 26.00 I guess I expected a little more meat. The reality is the burnt ends are most likely yesterday’s left overs so I assumed you would get more than what was given.

Just not good bbq or sides. Pretty sure I had old pasta shells in the Mac and it was cold cold. The brisket was super dry and seemed boiled..zero flavor and cold. The watered down sauces are very disappointing.

$25 and the meat looked like dog food. It tasted like it was microwaved or something, but idk, it just wasn’t very good. It didn’t have the burnt ends I expected. I understand there is a process they do, but obviously they need to change it cuz the reviews say it all. The Carolina sauce and potato salad were very tasty. The coleslaw was flavorless. I should have read the reviews. Might try the dessert or biscuits & gravy, but for the price, I won’t be trying the meat again.

First I’d like to preface this by saying I ate at their Barn food truck.

Had the brisket about 4 weeks ago and can’t stop thinking about how bad it was. Worst I’ve had with ease. I’ve told anyone who will listen not to get it. Boiled, tough, absolutely awful. Has nothing to do with Memphis style – I’ve had BBQ in Memphis, this isn’t it.

Note: my experience was from the food truck at The Barn, Albany.

Gross! Tried both places in town and hugely disappointed at each. Nasty chunks of meat, tons of fat, has no resemblance of good bbq. Mac n cheese had flavor of old noodles and was super watery. Whole box of food was cold too. Memphis is ashamed that this is attempted to be passed off as their style bbq.

Ordred pick up and picked up in the drive thru. I got the pulled pork sandwich with mac n cheese and potato salad, with a side of kc bbq sauce. I thought the meal was delicious, fresh, and filling. Loved the bbq sauce. My husband got the ribs with baked beans and also his plate was clean. Loved our black tea Boba, with peach and honey popping Boba. Thank you for the great service and food! We will be back
