Best food I’ve eaten all year. I waited to go for about 6 months and it was worth all the hype and drive. If you go you gotta try the creole smothered catfish. I spent $102 and that was with a tip and got 4 meals all 3 lemonades and a calypso. Everything was nice hot crispy and tasted amazing. The customer service was pretty good as well. I will be back. By the way I have never purchased food that look like it’s advertised pictures until now

Had the creloe smothered catfish, and I was recommended to get it with white rice, so I folded. Food was better than advertised, and looked as advertised. The shrimp weren’t overcooked, and the sauce was really good. I thought I was on the Bayou…in Michigan.

Wow. This place is delicious. I cannot believe I have never gone here! I ordered the Cajun Mac and cheese and the bayou fries for me and my partner to share. Even after tearing into them the second we got home and ate our fill (and more), we barely put a dent in these enormous portions.

After hearing many good things about cookies I bit the bullet and finally decided to try it. I ordered the ‘Louisiana Seafood Loaded Fries’ and let me just say it was definitely worth the $25!! Only reason I rated 4/5 was because the wait was a little long, but so worth it. will be going again soon

Made to order so expect it to be piping hot. The service was excellent and the restaurant also offers catering. I had the pleasure of trying their seafood plate for NYE for a catered event and then their chicken wings when I was in Kalamazoo. Sooo good.

Visited this restaurant for the first time but had heard about it from others who love soul (or southern) food. We had loaded fries while waiting for dinner to take home for later. The portions are generous, and the prices very reasonable. There was a continuous line ordering and waiting for food, mainly take-out, the whole time we were there. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the greens were over/salted for me and the cornbread was sweet (not my taste but many want and expect that). I am definitely going back to try other menu items! I love to patronize local businesses!
