I was a little disappointed with my visit to Applebee’s. I ate at the bar, the bartender was more concerned with chatting with another customer than helping me. I had a Chicken Ceasar Salad, the chicken was a little dry, the lettuce didn’t seem very fresh. The Top Shelf Long Island was delicious though.

We have been going to this applebees for 13 years and ever since covid, this location has been getting worse and worse. Today I had to call from the parking lot to get an employee to unlock the doors. It took almost 30 minutes to place a drink order. I have ordered bloody marys here with a small chaser for years. Today I was told i couldn’t have a chaser but would have to order either a pint or a bottle of beer if I wanted a chaser. No olives provided with bloody even though they were always provided previously. I will never eat here again since what used to be a great experience is now very unpleasant.

I’ve been to this location a few times and it seems to be getting worse. Tonight, we waited 45 minutes after being seated to have appetizers brought out only to find they were incorrect and a beer served barely half full.

Worst experience EVER!! Ordered the all you can eat wings for appetizer first order that came out was good the next 2 that came out we’re over cooked and gross … my food order was wrong, took 15 minutes to get each re order of wings (not busy at all) took 15 minutes to get refill on soda and water… witness 2 groups of 6+ people walk out because no one helped them. Applebees has gone down hill. Not worth the money. And the bartender/manager was creeping on 3 underage girls (gross) DO BETTER!!!

Doordashed. Item was out of stock but wasn’t given a chance to replace the order with something else. I’ve had other restaurants call before when this happens, so it’s really no excuse. So family dinner was cut in half. Received the order, the dish that was in stock didn’t even include everything ordered. The side was completely missing. Double checked receipt, side is still there.

Food-trash, spinach dip was damn near frozen, chips were stale af!!! I ordered the 4cheese Mac with chipotle honey tenders. Salt and pepper couldn’t even save it. It was whiter than the plate and atmosphere. It was so quiet and awkward. Wasn’t anything sweet or savory about the plate. It was as bland as the culture out here. It was dead so no excuses. I would not recommend if you enjoy flavor with your food. 0/10

The food tasted real good but my half rack of baby back ribs was could have been more tender. Ribs were served upside-down with the BBQ sauce layered on the back of the bones. That’s a first!!

Just left this restaurant in Pewaukee after not being served or even spoke too for over fifteen minutes while the server was busy making her child a shake at the bar and the hostess sat conversing with other employees in the bar… Really disappointing. Bad service has been a common theme of our last few visits to applebees and we are honestly done trying to support this dying franchise.

Applebee’s is an interesting Wisconsin franchise and I used to like going here a lot. I wasn’t very pleased with this particular location though. It might have been the time of the day – early afternoon. The hostess didn’t seem very welcoming, the server was alright though. The food was alright, and the place seemed clean and empty.

I have a pregnant wife who was crying about wanting Applebees 20 minutes before their close time. She called and placed an order with the manager who showed a lot of empathy. I know it sucks when someone places an order right before kitchen close but they were really kind about it and we couldn’t be more grateful. When I went to pick it up their customer service was top tier.
