I’ve traveled quite a bit, but growing up in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area, I always loved stopping by Casey’s for pizza and day-old donuts. The only issue I can find with Casey’s General Store is simply a product of the location. If you find yourself in such a sad and forgotten corner of the country, do yourself a favor and grab a slice, because Casey’s is probably the best thing about that corner of Iowa.

I truly love this location. Any others hold no candle to the service I can trust and truly count on. Very consistent with a friendly atmosphere and upstanding service. All other places when ordering pizza or some type of food has gotten my order wrong, or blatantly didn’t care about the quality they were putting out. I can order a bacon breakfast pizza, at any other location. And if they run out of something, instead of opening new product they will just run with it. The last time I had three pieces of bacon two and a half pieces on one slice and the other half piece, on the slice next to it. But not at this place. Tabor Casey’s isn’t just hitting par; they shoot past it as a leading standard, in professional quality and customer satisfaction; in the highest degree.

This “pay before pump” is a scam. My dad wanted 20 gallons. Gas was 1.84 per gallon, so total would be 36.98. The girl said 48.40. That. Is 11.42 more. Luckily dad looked at receipt and knows basic math and caught her. She could have pocketed nearly 12 bucks. They need to stop this scam!
