Clarke developed Circa 81 in hopes that guests will try something new and different and truly have a dining experience. Circa 81 offers great wine and cocktails too, with more than 30 specialty drinks on our cocktaileria menu. Our menu also includes medium and large plate selections – delicious sandwiches, homemade soups, local seafood and fresh-made desserts. And, don’t forget Sunday brunch. We offer on and off-site catering for special events, big or small.

We went to brunch and it was outstanding! I got the “Moo & Brie” beef sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was so good. The sweet potato fries had cinnamon sugar on them which was a great surprise. Our table also got the shrimp and grits, breakfast burrito, and the crab benedict. Everyone was raving how good everything was. Not just the food but the service was great as well. We had my 1 year old nephew there and our waiter brought out little slices of fruit for him to nibble on for free. It was a great sentiment. Highly recommend.

Called because we were gonna be late, ended up being 25mins late and they were so happy to take us in! We called in advanced to see if they had any vegan options, and they were so helpful. We got there and our table was already ready, the hostess and server were the nicest people ever. The waiter brought the chef put after i ask if the tomato soup was vegan, and they said they would make me a whole custom plate! Everyone was so nice, and it was very calm. Best service ever.

I stopped in tonight with a party of four. We were sat fairly quickly. We ordered a variety of dishes from their small plate menu. We were blown away. The food was delicious. You could tell that whoever was in the kitchen cared about what they put out. Better than the food was the service. Everyone from the hostess to the waiter and food runner were as friendly as I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. If I could give 10 stars I would. Great job guys.

I was very glad I was able to get last minute reservations to Circa 81 before leaning town. The staff is very friendly. There was one gentleman who later introduced himself as Peter that walked around with a smile lending a helping hand to the service staff. Seems everyone pitches in here.

We had a place on the Crystal Coast for a number of years and during that time, Circa 81 was one of our favorites. After 5 years away we finally made it back and took the whole family to experience this gem…and it did not disappoint.
