A small place and not busy on this Friday night, which was surprising because the barbecue is solid. It’s “Texas barbecue” so I went with the brisket. The cook asked if I minded it being mostly moist, which I definitely did not. It was not nearly as fatty as I expected, turning out to be quite delicious.

This is my favorite place in Richmond Ky. I look forward to Thursday because of this place. You absolutely have to try their brisket nachos. I have been going here consistently for a little over a year now and every time it gets better and better. I even had them cater my graduation party and the food was once again exceptional. From their brisket to their spicy beans, straight from Texas has my heart!

I was nervous to eat at this hidden Gem for a long time…but I’m sure glad I did because It is the Best BBQ I’ve ever had. Both in KY and TX. I Truly felt back home. Thee sides were fresh and giant servings. I recommend everyone try the Sweet Corn Cake, best cornbread I’ve ever had.The Brisket was smoked by a master.

I’ve been wanting to try their brisket since I moved here months ago. Today I got to, and it is the best brisket I’ve ever had! I can’t believe this place wasn’t packed! Definitely a nice place to go eat with some quiet atmosphere, or to get takeout if you’re in a hurry! Loved it!

The BBQ here is delicious and the brisket is my favorite. I always get the more lean slice which is what I recommend if your not into too much fat. But the little bit of fat I did get on my brisket was actually very good as well! Surprisingly it was an excellent plate! I look forward to coming back here every month!

Delicious tender brisket, sides and sweet tea. Wish they would have had Brunswick stew, but….it was all good. We were hungry on i- 75 found straight from TX BBQ in maps search in their cute little town; decided to stop there rather than Chick-fil-A, on down the road. So glad we did. thanks guys.

Midwesterner visiting… this place is delightful. The chicken was so juicy, the brisket was perfect. Three varieties of BBQ sauce – the sweet was phenomenal. The corn cake was interesting, very sweet, new for me. The coleslaw was refreshing. As always in the south, enjoyed a Ale81. Thanks for a great lunch.

The best BBQ in the entire region. Everything is good, you can’t go wrong. The brisket, spicy sausage, pulled pork, smoked turkey and Wednesday Special smoked wings are all truly delicious. Every side that I have had is reason enough to go back alone. HIGHLY recommended.
