We stumbled across the place when checking out the elk antler arch. The food was great. They have wonderful thick salsa. Our whole family enjoyed it.

Food here is fantastic. I don’t know why anyone would waste their time eating the garbage at Agave when this place is right down the street. This place is better and more authentic than Mexican places I’ve been to in the South. Everything we ordered was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be coming back. We’ll do our part to spread the word about this hidden gem.

This place is has amazing. Tasteful, and delicious food. Took a little bit of time, only one person doing everything, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Awesome and 100% recommend eating here.

Our family of 4 all loved what we ordered. Salsa is a little spicy, but good. Like other reviews say, there’s just one guy doing it all. There was only one couple there when we arrived, so the wait wasn’t bad at all. He’s definitely very quiet and just does his job. But stayed on top of water refills and like I mentioned, the food was great!

I LOVED the authentic Mexican food here!! I ordered the flautas and the plate presentation was good and the food as well. The service was awesome! The owner was so nice to us. Hard work shows in a family owned restaurant and this place definitely displays that! Would recommend and return!

4 adults ate here today… our first visit. ( we usually eat at the Mexican restaurant across the street). We read the most recent reviews and knew service would be slow—- we were in no hurry!

We were visiting the area on a Sunday. It was one of probably 2 places open. We chose to eat at this place and when we entered we were the only customers. We were a bit weary to eat there. Only one worker, probably the owner. We stayed and to our surprise the food was good. The bean dip was really good and so was the chips and salsa. It didn’t take long for our food, and no one got sick. Lol we all enjoyed our food. Service was good.

We have small appetites and ordered 1 meal to split. There was enough food for our needs. It took a while to be seated and more time to get a glass of water and then more time to order. The Fajita for one person comes with 3 tortillas and there was enough food to warrant 4 tortillas. We also ordered a side dish of one Tamale. It’s served with red enchilada sauce and had too much corn meal on the outside. If you want a quiet place to eat, this is not the place for you! There is energy in the air with music and chatter! Food is okay with lots of noise on a Saturday night.

Great food! Service was a one man show! The owner sat us, brought us the chips and salsa and drinks, took our order, cooked our food, served our food, and collected our money. I kind of felt sorry for the owner, he apologized for the slow service and said he just can’t find people that want to work.

Gentlemen was the only one here and he was awesome. It took awhile but it gave the family good quality time. The salsa was great and so was the food. Not to mention it was memorial day and the patron next to us bought dinner for all the veterans in the restaurant. We will come back!
