I feel like the plate should of been more rice and vegetable I’m used to going to any Jamaican/Caribbean restaurant and getting a packed plate of food worth my money I just paid 18+tax for a little bit of food otherwise it’s good

Very nice place. Food was very good and tasty! Large was large for sure, just little to pricey . Some spots in Bridgeport sell the same thing but half the cost.

Dutch Pot is a hidden gem !. The quality of the food at this location is very impressive. I especially enjoyed the stewed chicken. I encourage everyone to give this restaurant a try. There are quite a few West Indian restaurants in the area but, if high quality is what you’re looking for, this is your new spot. You will taste the difference.

The lady at the register was very friendly, and pleasant. Place was clean on the inside, unfortunately the plaza it’s in was not too kept. The food I give a C+ I’ve only had one dish here so far, but the oxtail was fall off the bone and seasoned good. The rice was OK, the plantains tasted old.

The last behind the counter was super nice and the stew peas I ordered was delicious. I was expecting pig tails but received smoked neck bones instead. Now I love smoked neck bones, it’s a southern thing in the US if you’ve never heard of them, but with Jamaican stew peas I was expecting pig tails instead. The portion size was good. Will return.

Very upset as i placed an order curry chicken with gravy, and asked if they have dense dumplings she said yes and then charged me 18 dollars. I get home and get one thigh cut up and one chicken leg, tons of 18 dollar rice, and a table spoon of gravy. I could tell they where very prejudice, not friendly at all. I ask a question they brushed me off. I use to got here and now they lost me. Racist bunch i felt.

The aki and salt fish with the fried dumplings is something I could eat everyday. The porridge is some of the best I’ve had. My only problem is when I come sometimes during their posted opening hours, they are closed.
