Best food we had on our whole vacation. We ordered the nachos for an app which were good. Then the two kids split a margherita pizza which they ate the whole thing and said they loved it. Wife and I split the lobster Cobb salad and the salmon with rice. Both were incredibly fresh and delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. We are definitely coming back next year. The waitress was very nice and helped us picked stuff out on the menu. The vibe was nice with good music playing and sitting outside was pleasant.

What a fun place and great location! After an amazing day on short sands beach this was the perfect place to end the day! Great food! Loved the lobster Cobb salad! And the drinks were a nice way to cool off (should have ordered the bucket though)! Can’t wait for the next visit.

My wife and I hosted our wedding welcome party at the Sand Dollar and had an exceptional experience. Colby and his crew accommodated a group of 40+ of us during their regular dinner service. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. Family and friends still talk about memories that they made at the sand dollar and request that we return there for drinks when they are in town. Would highly recommend hosting your event here.

Sand Dollar is excellent! The menu is crowd-pleasing, even for picky eaters, and the food quality is top-notch. Service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back next time we are in town.

Our server was amazing but our food was terrible. My friend was served raw salmon twice, when we expected it fully cooked. Our server had the fish remade once to only be served raw fish again. This completely was not her fault as the salmon looked fully cooked on the outside, but was completely raw in the middle. The food runner then brought the original dish back, outer ends of the fillet burnt with the middle removed. We were then brought a new dish after sending the first back twice. Which looked fully cooked on the outside, but again the middle of the salmon fillet was raw. I very much recommend drinks and the piano bar, but please avoid the food.

We were there on a Wednesday evening and the place was busy. The waitress was competent and accommodating when I had to send my burger back because it was too rare for me to eat. It came back just as rare and I ate the edges. My daughters ordered the Margherita pizza which was good and the Falafel sandwich that was not good. The Falafel didn’t have any seasoning! They are usually green with spices and this was bland 🙁

The food is great! Get the lobster mac and cheese!! Are server was very good and got things quickly and checked on us often BUT no changing table in either bathroom?? There was a countertop that worked but it’s right under the paper towel dispenser so it was all wet and gross.

We waited for 15 minutes after we were seated and the waitress hadn’t come to check on us and take our order. We had to ask the busboy for the waitress, the place wasn’t busy, most the tables were empty. The waitress had an attitude that became worse every time we asked for something. On top of the fact that the drop station was behind us, the staff was dropping everything into it and was loud and annoying. I ordered a margarita pizza, without realizing that the menu said roasted tomato sauce, the tomato sauce tasted like ketchups and the pizza didn’t taste good at all. I was surprised that they use tomato sauce instead of actual tomato slices which a margarita pizza is supposed to be. All the waitress did after I asked why the use tomato sauce instead of slices, she just bought the menu to show me it said tomato sauce, she didn’t ask if I wanted to order something different, that waitress had a major attitude problem.

We had a private function (wedding) and of course there are junior bridesmaids and junior groomsmen. Those wedding party members weren’t allowed in to the private function to have a snack after the wedding. Manager trying to quote State laws, but was making things up, saying they can’t come in. Sand Dollar happy to take our money, but not let a couple 12 year olds in to have a slice of pizza with their parents. Anyone looking to book a private function/after party beware. The place isn’t accommodating. Take your business elsewhere elsewhere if you have families attending.
